Strasser and the Kaiser ordered the sister ships to be built in secret alongside the new Derfflinger battleships. Hence, they were built in the new shipyards of the port city of Kiel. The Bismarck class' numerous secondary batteries can easily sink a destroyer or cruiser but really struggle against the heavy armour of another battleship. However, no other nation so far has started to develop modern warships.

As von Hipper approached the massive gangplank, the Kriegsmarine sailours that were guarding either side clicked their heels, holstered their guns, and saluted. Hipper saluted in return and was greeted by Captain Meier, a fox faunus with two red ears poking out from his white captain's hat. His Commander, the rank that serves as second in command to the captain, was standing beside him. They both saluted.

"Good morning admiral, it is an honour to have you aboard." Meier greeted and shook Hipper, his glistening golden buttons shining on his black admiral's uniform.
