Muller proceeded to violently choke on the drink he was despartly trying to down, Lulu patted him on the back and that seemed to work.
"The, the Field Marshall!?" Muller exclaimed, "as in the Field Marshal of the German Army?"
"Well if it isn't it's a great impersonation," Lulu remarked, "I'll let her in." Muller stuggled to comprehend who was on the other side of this door, the very person whom represented and headed the institution he wanted to win over. Then the doors opened, then the Field Marshall in all her glory, marched into the room. Her Lieb Hussar uniform drew attention from anyone in her vicinity, origninally saw as barbaric, now the uniform and the death's head busby were respected in every quater of the Empire. But most importantly, feared. By whom? By everyone, who ever finds a Hussar riding over the horizon knows the death's head isn't just for show. Few who saw these reapers lived to tell the tale, their reputation had become cemented in German mythology.
"Commander Muller, a pleasure." Freida greeted and saluted to the elderly officer.
"Field Marshal, ma'am." Muller said, reciprocating Freida's salute as three others marched into the office. Two of them were part of a new division of the Shutzbereich: the Liebstandarte. This new division was established by Mark on the outbreak of the Perserkrieg, on the insistance of Wilhelm, the Liebstandarte serves as body guard units for important officers such as the Field Marshal of the Heer.
Both bodyguards also had the death's head crest on their black caps. The Liebstandarte unfiforms had the same black and silver colour scheme as the Feldjagers, only the best of those were chosen to compliment this new division.
Another person of rank also came through the door, Reichsfuhrer Mark von Ephrais of the Shutzbereich. Head of the organisation that had constantly blocked Muller's attempts, to join the front with his soldiers.
"Oh I believe you have met the Reichsfuhrer, Muller?" Freida asked.
"Indeed, we have met." Muller said, with a hint of mistrust in his voice. Mark whinced at the sight of Muller, but restrained himself.
"With all due respect Commander, times change. The present situation has new requirements, as the Field Marshal will tell you," Mark said respectfully. He was aware that the Field Marshal outranked him, therefore he served at Freida's pleasure. And the army was in need of Muller's soldiers. Muller and Lulu looked to Freida in confusion.
"I will explain, may we sit down?" Freida asked, Muller obliged. Freida and Mark sat down in front of Mullers desk, with Muller sitting infront of them behind the desk with his daughter standing beside him. "I have it from the highest authority to request your assistance Commander."
"My assistance? And by the highest authority do you mean..." Muller started to ask but Freida predicted Muller's question.
"Yes. His Imperial Majesty, the Kaiser, seeks your help herr Muller." Freida stated.
