"Thank you for meeting me at such short notice." Wilhelm said, sitting in front of the tank of stingrays in the conference room of the Wilhelmstrasser, behind his desk. He was wearing a light uniform without epaulettes, but did come with shoulder boards, a more casual military appearance.

He was talking to a group of officials who had just entered. The SB Reichfuhrer Mark, Reich Minister of Justice Hess, Stasi leader Gorman, and Oberfuhrer Eduard Gross who was leader of the German police force. They sat down at the conference table that connected to Wilhelm's desk.
"I presume you have all heard the news." Wilhelm said, earning a glance from Ida at the opposite end of the room, who was writing the minutes with help from a civil service secretary.
"Yes, my Kaiser." Hess said solemnly. "We are all deeply saddened and disturbed to learn that someone would attempt regicide at such a happy time of year."
"If you all know then you understand why you are all here." Everyone looked at each other, some of them sweating bullets. Rumours had been going around about the assassination attempt, but only members of the high command and judiciary knew the details. This was a highly serious issue for them, never before had someone other than an enemy try and kill the German Emperor.
"While disappointing, I am not assigning blame. We have no idea who these people are, or their motivations. However we can safely assume that there are malicious forces working against us. Most likely foreign ones. Thus change is once again necessary." Wilhelm said solemnly. "This is not something I enjoy doing, I don't like having to increase security for my own wellbeing. However the situation demands it, I will soon have a family to protect. And with the wedding fast approaching, my wife will need protection. I have spoken to Obergruppenfuhrer Peiper and he is cracking down, but so far has found no leads."
"My Kaiser, what do you intend to do?" Mark asked.
"Later this week I will announce new legislation ordering that diplomatic immunity be revoked to all countries other than, Sparta, Ankyut, Mer Kingdom, our Persian protectorate, and Russia." Wilhelm said. "Also border walls will be erected on all our borders to improve border control. The Reich cabinet has passed a bill earlier today that doubles the budget for Law and Order, we are a martial society. There is no shortage of ex soldiers who are too old to fight, but are loyal to the hilt. Furthermore, Oberfuhrer Eduard Gross, and you Gorman, I want the police and Stasti to adopt the same hireachy as the SB: so you will both now hold the rank of Reichfuhrer equal to Mark here. The police will be renamed to the: "Ordnungspolizei" or "Orpo" for short, a sub divison of Orpo will be "Kripo" or the "Kriminalpolizei", which will be the criminal investigation arm of our police forces. However, Kripo only deals with crime, Stasi shall deal with what is..." Wilhelm paused "...required of them."
Wilhelm looked at Gorman with a serious face, for Gorman it was almost telepathic in which the Kaiser's face denoted Gorman's new orders: "Hunt down these traitors, ruthlessly and without mercy." Gorman nodded in understanding.
