"Wow, I had no idea Darrian had robbed the Persian people of all of this wealth." Wilhelm gasped. Weibke had just opened the royal vault, which stored the all the riches accumulated by Darrian. The golden light almost blinded Wilhelm, Weibke and Freida. It was a sea of gold and jewels.

"Darrian often, told me that he paid adventurers to loot places across the continent for treasures and riches. Though he never used this wealth, he just took from others and promised to pay them back. He insisted that all of this was to be kept for himself. And his successor" Weibke said grimly.

"Thank you for showing us this Weibke, and I am sorry for your loss." Wilhelm said, after all is was partly his fault that Weibke's only son had died.

"It is okay, I have made my peace with the matter now. And helping you is my first step on the road of redemption." Weibke explained. At that point Serina saluted and approached them.

"Your majesty, a few officials in brown uniforms have arrived." Serina said after turning awa from the glaring wealth in the vault. "Ida said that you'd know what they were for."

"Ah yes, they're an attache from the ministries in Berlin. Send the brownshirts from the economic ministry through." Wilhelm said, Serina nodded and went to get the officials.

"Brownshirts?" Freida asked, confused.

"That's the nickname I gave to the members of the civil service. I helped Ida organise the civil service during breaks in combat, now the civil service has over 100,000 people employed. Next year an expansion is scheduled to expand the civil service to over 500,000 people." Wilhelm said proudly.

"So while you were fighting the war, you helped Ida create an entire new organisation. Mighty impressive my love." Freida complemented, Wilhelm shot her a smile as the brownshirts came in. They were wearing armbands from the Reichsbank: the organisation that controlled all the state run banks in Germany, which Luke ran.
