Derek opened the door and walked inside as Liliana followed behind him. She walked towards the couch and immediately threw herself on it.
Liliana sighed a huge breath.
Derek chuckled seeing his wife laying on the couch.
Derek- Tired?
He asked with a small smile.
Liliana- Yes!
She yelled, she giggled a bit as she analyzed the ceiling.
Derek- Listen....
Derek sat beside Liliana.
Derek- Liliana....I'm so sorry.
Liliana sat up and looked at him with an expressionless face.
Derek- I swear I didn't mean to hurt you.
Liliana smiled a bit. She forgave him, and after all she's been through she wasn't into fighting.
She leaned in and hugged him tightly.
Liliana- It's okay.....I forgive you.
Derek smiled and hugged her back.
Derek- I'm so lucky to have you.
Liliana giggled.
Suddenly they heard a phone ringing a loud. Both looking at each other in confusion, they both up and walked towards the house phone.
Liliana picked up the phone.
Liliana- Hello? Hmmmmm yes.....wait? Really? No way!! Yes....yes...thank you so much.
She then hung up the phone.
Derek waited for his wife to say something, the joy on her face was enough to make him tumble down in laughter.
She turned towards him.
Derek- So? Who was it?
Liliana took a deep breath before answering.
Liliana- My sister...... she's alive.
