Polyamory but that's about it
.......
The cozy livingroom of lupins cottage, normally filled with warmth and laughter, was unusually tense. You, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin were in the midst of a heated argument, the kind that felt like it could either tear you apart or bring you closer together.

"How could you not tell us?" Sirius's voice echoed through the room, his stormy grey eyes flashing with hurt and anger. His usually handsome, carefree face was clouded with frustration.

"I didn't think it was the right time," you replied, trying to keep your own temper in check. "You both had so much on your plates already. I didn't want to add more stress."

Remus, standing by the fireplace, his hands gripping the mantelpiece, looked torn. His usually calm and gentle demeanor was overshadowed by worry and disappointment. "But we're supposed to share everything with each other, Y/N. We're in this together. You should have trusted us."

You looked between the two of them, feeling a mix of guilt and defensiveness. "I do trust you, both of you. It's just...sometimes I feel like I have to handle things on my own. I didn't want to be a burden."

Sirius let out a bitter laugh, running a hand through his thick, dark hair. "A burden? Is that what you think you are to us? Merlin, Y/N, you're one of the best things in our lives. We love you. But how are we supposed to help if you shut us out?"

Remus stepped forward, his voice softer but no less intense. "We're stronger together, Y/N. We need to face things as a unit, not individually. When you keep things from us, it feels like you don't trust us to handle it."

Tears welled up in your eyes, not just from the argument but from the realization of how deeply you had hurt them by trying to protect them. "I'm sorry," you whispered, your voice breaking. "I didn't mean to hurt either of you. I just didn't know how to handle everything, and I thought I was doing the right thing."

Sirius crossed the room in a few strides, pulling you into a tight embrace. His voice, now gentle and soothing, was a stark contrast to his earlier anger. "We're sorry too, love. We just want to be there for you, like you've always been there for us."

Remus joined the embrace, his presence grounding and reassuring. "We'll figure it out together, like we always do. Just promise us you won't shut us out again."

You nodded, feeling the weight of the argument lift as the love and connection between the three of you reasserted itself. "I promise."

The tension in the room melted away, replaced by a renewed sense of unity and understanding. The three of you sat down, talking late into the night, addressing the issues that had been brewing and reaffirming your commitment to each other.

By the time the first light of dawn filtered through the windows, you felt closer to Sirius and Remus than ever before. The argument, though painful, had served its purpose. It had reminded you all of the importance of communication and trust in your unique relationship. And as you leaned on each other for support, you knew that together, there was nothing you couldn't overcome.
