I know this one's overdone but I like it
---In the dim light of the Gryffindor common room, the fire crackled softly, casting warm shadows on the walls. Remus Lupin and Y/N L/N were nestled together on the worn but comfortable couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket. Remus's arm was draped protectively around her shoulders, and she leaned into his chest, savoring the quiet moment.
Remus's heart pounded in his chest. He knew he needed to tell her the truth, but the fear of her reaction held him back. Finally, taking a deep breath, he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Y/N, there's something I need to tell you."
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with curiosity and concern. "What is it, Remus?"
He swallowed hard, his hand trembling slightly as he brushed a strand of hair from her face. "It's something I've been keeping from you... something I should have told you sooner."
Y/N sat up a bit, giving him her full attention. "Remus, you can tell me anything. You know that, right?"
He nodded, his eyes searching hers for reassurance. "Y/N, I'm a werewolf."
For a moment, there was silence. The only sound was the crackling of the fire and the soft ticking of the old clock on the mantel. Remus watched her face, bracing himself for fear or disgust. But instead, she simply reached out and took his hand, her grip firm and comforting.
"Thank you for telling me, Remus," she said softly. "I can't imagine how hard it must have been for you to keep this to yourself."
He looked at her in disbelief, a mixture of relief and astonishment flooding through him. "You're... you're not afraid?"
She shook her head, a gentle smile playing on her lips. "No, Remus. I'm not afraid. I love you, all of you, no matter what. Being a werewolf doesn't change who you are to me."
Tears of gratitude welled up in his eyes as he pulled her close, burying his face in her hair. "I was so scared you would hate me," he murmured.
She hugged him tightly, her warmth and love enveloping him. "Never. We'll face everything together, okay? You're not alone."
Remus kissed the top of her head, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders. With Y/N by his side, he knew he could face anything. They settled back into their embrace, the fire's glow wrapping them in its comforting light as they held each other, ready to face whatever the future might bring.
