Y/N had never stayed over in Remus' dorm before. Sure, they had hung out there plenty of times, but this was different. Tonight, for the first time, she was spending the night. As she settled into his bed, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Remus pulled her close as they lay under the covers, his arms wrapping around her securely. It was comforting, the way he held her, his warmth and the steady rhythm of his breathing helping her relax.

"Goodnight, Remus," she whispered, pressing a kiss to his chest.

"Goodnight, love," he murmured back, nuzzling his face into her hair.

Y/N smiled and closed her eyes, ready to drift off to sleep. But as the night wore on, she began to realize something. Every time she shifted, even slightly, Remus' grip tightened. When she tried to turn over, he pulled her back to him, not letting her move more than an inch away.

At first, she found it endearing. He was just being affectionate, after all. But as the hours passed and she found herself increasingly trapped in his embrace, it became clear just how clingy he was.

Around three in the morning, she felt the urgent need to use the bathroom. Carefully, she tried to wiggle out of his grasp, but Remus immediately pulled her back.

"Where are you going?" he mumbled, still half-asleep.

"I need to go to the bathroom," she whispered.

"No, stay," he murmured, holding her tighter. "Cuddles."

"Remus, I really need to go," she insisted gently, trying to pry his arms off her.

He groaned but finally loosened his grip. "Fine. But hurry back."

Y/N quickly made her way to the bathroom, shaking her head with a small smile. As much as she loved Remus, she hadn't expected him to be this attached. It was sweet, really, and she couldn't help but feel a warm flutter in her chest at how much he wanted to be close to her.

When she returned, Remus was already half-awake, his eyes searching for her in the dim light. As soon as she slid back into bed, he wrapped himself around her again, letting out a contented sigh.

"Don't leave again," he murmured, his voice full of sleepy vulnerability.

"I won't," she promised, resting her head against his chest.

As she lay there, wrapped in his arms, Y/N realized that while Remus might be clingy, it was just another way he showed his love for her. And she was perfectly okay with that.
