I wanted this to be a happier, more lively chapter in contrast of chapter 12, I hope you'll enjoy it just as much ❤️

The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Felix gathered his books, his mind still processing the conversation with Chan from a couple days ago. It felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders, even though the pain was still there. As he walked out of the classroom, he was met by his friends waiting for him.

"Hey, Lix!" Hyunjin called out, his face lighting up with a smile. "We've got a surprise for you."

Felix raised an eyebrow, curious. "A surprise?"

Changbin grinned and threw an arm around Felix's shoulder. "Yeah, we're going to the amusement park! We thought it would be a fun way to spend the afternoon and, you know, get our minds off things."

Felix's eyes widened in surprise and excitement. "Really? That sounds amazing!"

Minho nodded, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yeah, we figured it's been a rough week, so we deserve some fun."

As they walked out of the school together, Felix felt a warmth spreading through him. He looked around at his friends, grateful for their presence and support. They made their way to the bus stop, chatting and laughing along the way.

The bus ride was filled with their usual banter and teasing. Jeongin and Seungmin were debating which roller coaster was the best, while Jisung and Changbin were plotting which rides to hit first. Chan sat next to Felix, giving him a reassuring smile.

When they arrived at the amusement park, Felix felt a surge of excitement. The vibrant colors, the sound of laughter and music, the smell of cotton candy and popcorn - it was a sensory overload, but in the best possible way.

"Alright, where to first?" Chan asked, looking at the map.

"The roller coasters!" Jisung and Jeongin, the two omegas, yelled in unison, making everyone laugh.

They headed towards the biggest roller coaster in the park, a towering structure that twisted and turned in dizzying loops. Felix felt a mix of fear and exhilaration as they got in line. As they waited, Changbin and Hyunjin kept making silly faces and jokes to keep everyone entertained.

When it was finally their turn, Felix climbed into the seat next to Chan, his heart pounding with anticipation. As the coaster climbed to the top, he squeezed Chan's hand, and Chan squeezed back, giving him a reassuring smile. Then, with a rush of wind, they were off, screaming and laughing as the coaster sped through its twists and turns.

After the ride, they stumbled out, breathless and exhilarated. Felix's heart was still racing, but he felt lighter than he had in weeks.

"Let's get some food!" Changbin suggested with Seungmin by his side, and they all agreed, making their way to the food stalls.

They indulged in all kinds of treats - cotton candy, churros, corn dogs, and ice cream. Felix couldn't remember the last time he had so much fun. They played games, winning silly prizes for each other, and took funny pictures in the photo booths.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the park, they found a spot to sit and watch the fireworks show. Felix sat between Chan and Hyunjin, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. The sky lit up with bursts of color, and he looked around at his friends, feeling grateful for their presence in his life.

Chan leaned over and whispered, "Remember, Felix, we're in this together. Always."

Felix smiled, feeling a warmth in his chest. And again, in a long while, he felt hopeful. He knew there would still be difficult days ahead, but he also knew he wasn't alone. He had his friends and aunt, and together, they could face anything.

As the final fireworks exploded in the sky, Felix made a silent promise to himself.

He closed his eyes and held his hands together, near his chest, silently whispering some words under his breath, and finishing with a little smile.

I will try to be more open with my friends, to let them in and lean on them when I needed to.

And I will cherish these moments of happiness, knowing they are a reminder of the love that surround me.

The night ended with them walking back to the bus stop, their laughter echoing in the cool night air. Felix looked up at the stars, feeling a sense of calm he hadn't felt in a long time.

He smiled, knowing that no matter what happened, he had his friends by his side. And that made all the difference.
