The anticipation was electric, humming through the air like a song only they could hear. This wasn't just a wedding between Seungmin and Jeongin--this was a celebration of all of them. Their love, their bond.
Seungmin was pacing, his usually composed demeanor faltering as he adjusted his cuffs for what had to be the hundredth time. Minho watched with a smirk, seated on the couch beside Chan, who was just as nervous.
"You're gonna wear a hole in the floor, babe," Minho teased, reaching out to grab Seungmin's hand, tugging him closer.
Seungmin let out a slow breath as Minho kissed the inside of his wrist. "I'm fine."
"Yeah? Tell that to your scent and heartbeat," Chan murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Seungmin's temple and nibbling at Seungmin's neck like he's an omega to mark.
Hyunjin entered, eyes twinkling. "How's my husband-to-be holding up?"
Seungmin rolled his eyes but let Hyunjin pull him into a slow, grounding hug. "I just want to see him already."
"You'll see him soon," Chan reassured, rubbing Seungmin's back.
...
Meanwhile, in another room, Jeongin was sitting still--shockingly still--as Felix, Jisung, and Changbin flitted around him, helping with the final touches.
Felix's fingers were gentle as he fixed Jeongin's bowtie. "You're glowing," he murmured, pressing a quick kiss to Jeongin's cheek.
Jisung wrapped his arms around Jeongin from behind, chin resting on his shoulder. "Excited?"
"Nervous," Jeongin admitted, gripping Jisung's hand. "But mostly excited."
Changbin growled, smoothing down the front of Jeongin's suit. "Seungmin and the rest are gonna lose their minds when they sees you, baby." He said as he inhaled Jeongin's scent and kissed his neck a couple of times.
"Are your ruts going to be here soon?" Jisung asked as he peeked at Changbin growling and he only nodded in agreement and let Jeongin go.
Felix hummed, placing one last flower in Jeongin's boutonnière and bringing Jeongin into a soft and loving kiss. "Alright, let's get you married."
...
As Jeongin walked down the aisle, the golden glow of the setting sun bathed him in warmth. His heart pounded at the sight of Seungmin standing at the altar, looking breathtaking in deep navy.
Seungmin's breath hitched as their eyes met, his grip tightening on Chan's hand beside him. Seungmin and Jeongin wanted their mates to be all next to each other at the altar with them.
Hyunjin nudged him playfully. "Breathe, babe."
Minho chuckled but discreetly squeezed Seungmin's other hand in reassurance.
When Jeongin reached him, Seungmin wasted no time taking his hands, rubbing slow circles over Jeongin's knuckles with his thumb. "You're beautiful," he whispered, voice just for Jeongin.
Jeongin flushed, squeezing back. "So are you."
The officiant--Beomgyu, one of Yeonjun's mates, and a dear friend of Jeongin's--grinned at them. "Alright, lovebirds, let's get to it."
He spoke about love, about unity, about how their bond was unique and powerful. As he did, the others stood close, a constant presence, hands brushing, fingers entwining.
"I promise to love you," Jeongin said, voice steady despite the overwhelming emotions in his chest. "To hold you close, to make you laugh, to be by your side--always."
Seungmin let out a breathless laugh, his heart swelling. "You make my world brighter. I promise to be your calm, your comfort, your home."
Minho was already dabbing at Hyunjin's tears. Felix clutched onto Changbin's arm, eyes shining. Jisung rested his head on Chan's shoulder, smiling.
"You may now kiss," Beomgyu announced, though he barely got the words out before Seungmin was already pulling Jeongin close.
Their lips met in a slow, deep kiss, filled with every promise, every whispered "I love you" they had ever exchanged. The cheers and whistles from their mates and guests made Jeongin giggle into the kiss, and Seungmin pulled back just enough to murmur against his lips, "Mine."
"Yours," Jeongin whispered back. "Forever."
The night was filled with warmth--soft touches, stolen kisses, laughter spilling like champagne.
Seungmin and Jeongin barely left each other's side, hands clasped, arms around each other, but they also moved seamlessly between their mates.
Chan pulled Seungmin into a slow dance, murmuring praises against his cheek. "I'm so proud of you," he whispered.
Jeongin laughed as Felix dragged him onto the dance floor, spinning him playfully before pressing a sweet kiss to his lips.
Jisung found himself sandwiched between Changbin and Minho, both of them sneaking pecks along his jaw--while softly pulling at his waist and growling--as he pretended to be annoyed.
Hyunjin, tipsy on champagne, clung to Chan and Seungmin, smushing their cheeks together. "My handsome husbands," he cooed before pressing exaggerated kisses to both of them.
And when the bouquet was tossed, Jisung made a dramatic dive--but Minho caught it instead, smirking as he held it up.
"Looks like we're next," he teased, pulling Jisung in by the waist.
Jisung pouted but melted when Minho kissed him.
As the night wound down, Jeongin rested his head on Seungmin's shoulder, fingers laced together. "Happy?" Seungmin asked, pressing a lingering kiss to Jeongin's forehead.
Jeongin sighed contentedly. "Beyond happy."
And as their mates surrounded them, hands brushing, kisses exchanged, love so tangible it filled every corner of the room, Seungmin knew this--this was forever.
