After the teasing subsided, the day unfolded lazily. Jisung stayed close, making no effort to leave the comfort of Felix's apartment. They lounged around, eating a lazy breakfast together, the morning sunlight painting soft shadows around the room.
Felix appreciated the quiet moments, though every now and then, Jisung would shoot him a mischievous grin, as if recalling fragments of the previous night.
Felix, for his part, still couldn't stop blushing. He was trying not to think too much about how easily Jisung's touches had stirred something in him, he never felt that way before.
The butterflies in his stomach hadn't calmed down since, but being with Jisung today felt... normal. Familiar. Except now, the air between them felt charged, like there was more lingering beneath the surface. There was no awkward silence, just their normal selves with something unknown there as well.
As the clock ticked closer to noon, a knock sounded at the door. Jisung perked up, already knowing who it was. Felix, still sprawled out on the couch, looked toward the door in confusion.
"That'll be Minho hyung," Jisung said with a lazy stretch. "He's picking me up for the studio."
Felix stood up, wiping his hands on his sweatpants before opening the door, and sure enough, there stood Minho, all casual charm with a mischievous gleam in his eyes, his scent already filling Felix's nostrils. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking effortlessly cool as usual.
"Hey, kitten," Minho greeted, his voice smooth, almost teasing. "Looking cute today."
Felix froze for a second. He knew Minho flirted with everyone, and it wasn't something new to hear it directed at him--but after everything with Jisung--it made his heart skip a beat. His cheeks flushed instantly. "Uh... hi, hyung..."
Minho's smile widened as he stepped inside. "Why do you look so shy all of a sudden?" he asked, his tone laced with amusement. He leaned in just slightly, peering into Felix's eyes. "Jisung said you weren't shy when you two did all that dirty stuff last night, were you?"
Felix's eyes shot over to Jisung, who was lounging back with a knowing smirk, clearly enjoying the moment. "Hyung!" Felix whined a bit.
But Minho just laughed softly, stepping closer, clearly reveling in Felix's embarrassment. "Aww, come on. Don't tell me you're still blushing after all that? Jisung must've really gotten to you, huh?"
Before Felix could stutter out a response, Jisung piped up from the couch, his grin widening. "You should've seen him, hyung. All sexy last night, but now? Just a shy little mess. He was so sensitive as well, he was squirming all over." He winked at Felix, clearly enjoying himself. Minho smirked, his eyes widening a bit. "Oh, really?"
Felix gasped, face now fully red. "Okay, that's it! Both of you--out!" he huffed, gently shoving Minho toward the door, though his strength was more playful than serious.
Minho chuckled, hands raised in surrender as he backed up. "Alright, alright. We're going."
Jisung stood up, still laughing as he followed Minho toward the door. He paused, glancing back at Felix with a fond, teasing smile. "Don't miss me too much, okay?"
Felix rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile tugging at his lips. "Just go already."
As soon as the door closed behind them, Felix collapsed back onto the couch, heart still racing.
They're so infuriating.
He thought, though a warmth spread through his chest at the playful banter. But as the apartment grew quiet again, Felix's thoughts started to wander.
.
.
.
What am I even doing?
Last night had been... something. Jisung had made him feel things--things Felix wasn't quite ready to process yet. And now, with Hyunjin's date just around the corner, Felix's mind was swirling with confusion. He liked Hyunjin. That much was clear. But there was something about Jisung, too--something that complicated everything.
Felix sighed, running a hand through his hair. He didn't have time to think about it now. Glancing at the clock, he realized he needed to head to work. With a quick change of clothes, he grabbed his bag and made his way out the door.
...
It was the next day now, and by the time Felix arrived at the bubble tea shop, it was almost 10 a.m., and the usual bustle of customers was already starting. He slipped behind the counter, tying on his apron, trying to distract himself with the familiar rhythm of work.
But even as he took orders and chatted with customers, Felix's mind kept wandering back to Hyunjin. Their date was today, and the thought of it filled Felix with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Hyunjin was so... bold--at least around him. Felix wasn't sure how to act around him sometimes, especially when Hyunjin teased him so openly. It was different from Jisung's teasing--Jisung felt safe, familiar. Hyunjin made Felix feel like his heart was going to explode, in the best way possible.
I really like him,
Felix admitted to himself, turning away from the counter for a moment to gather his thoughts.
But then there was Jisung. Last night had been... well--intense. Felix wasn't used to feeling that way around his friends, and now, every time he looked at Jisung, he couldn't help but think about it.
And then there was Minho, too, who seemed to flirt without a care in the world, leaving Felix a blushing mess.
But that's what they are supposted to do, at least to see if I can like all of them...
What am I supposed to do with that, though?
Seungmin and Jeongin? He wasn't so sure. They were close, but his feelings for them didn't have the same intensity, same with Changbin and Chan. Not like with Hyunjin or Jisung.
Felix sighed, shaking his head. He needed to stop overthinking. The date with Hyunjin was just a fun day out. He'd focus on that for now, and the rest?
Well, he'd figure it out later.
