Y'all are getting an early chapter cus' I'm feeling generous and happy~~

I'm so excided for tomorrow, I can't wait^^

Also, I reorganized my ROCK-STAR and my ATE posters today. I was so dedicated and into it that I made a freakin' sketch, but, it turned out better than I imagined.

The next day, Felix decided to focus on the fun things and push his feelings aside.

He didn't want to ruin the dynamic they had, so when they met up at the boba shop after school, Felix made an effort to join in the conversations and laugh along with his friends.

He noticed their subtle glances and whispered exchanges, but he chose to ignore them, focusing instead on the joy of the moment.

As the days slowly went by, Felix found solace in their shared activities.

They went hiking, had game nights, had study sessions and even tried cooking together, which ended in hilarious disaster more often than not.

...

One evening, as they sat around the living room playing a board game and watching a movie, Felix could swear he caught a glimpse of the secret he had been trying to uncover.

The way Chan looked at Minho and Hyunjin with pure admiration, the way Changbin rested his head on Jisung's shoulder, and the way Seungmin held Jeongin's hand-all these small gestures spoke of a deeper connection.

Is this the answer? They don't feel like I belong with them? They don't want to be frie-

Felix's thoughts were interupted by a gentle touch on his knee. He looked up to see Hyunjin smiling at him. "Are you feeling alright sunshine?"

Felix felt a small lump form in his throat but nodded. "Yeah, I'm ok." And after Felix's answer, Hyunjin smiled and turned his head to watch TV.

Despite the pain of not knowing about this full secret, Felix chose to focus on the love and support they offered him.

I should be grateful for these moments if they aren't gonna last much longer if this secret is what I think it is...

Hopefully not though and I'm just wrong, I'll miss them too much...

He decided to cherish the moments they shared and let go of his need to uncover their secret.

He sighed as he relaxed his body on the comfortable couch, looking as Hyunjin's hand rubbed soft circles on his thigh, he smiled and placed his hand on top of Hyunjin's, interlocking their hands together, making both of them smile softly.

As they laughed and joked together, Felix felt a sense of peace wash over him. He might not know everything, but he knew enough.

He knew that his friends cared deeply for him and each other, and he knew that, for now, that was enough until the probably sad news would get him crushed as soon as they decide to tell him the truth.

Felix glanced at Hyunjin that was smiling at something Chan had said. He felt the familiar flutter in his chest and smiled to himself.

Maybe one day, he would find the courage to share his feelings if they would still be there.

Seriously? He has a partner. Get a grip of yourself, he's one of your best friends.

And with that, Felix got up from the couch and excused himself to go to the bathroom with tears in his eyes that he hoped the others could not see.
