After Felix fell asleep, curled up against Hyunjin, the latter lay there, staring at the ceilling, trying to process everything that had just happened. Sure, on the outside he had been calm--maybe even brave--but on the inside? He was practically bursting with excitement and nerves. Felix had kissed him back. That gentle, soft kiss had been everything Hyunjin had dreamed about, but now that it actually happened, he felt like his heart was about to explode.

He stole a glance at Felix, still fast asleep beside him, his expression peaceful. Hyunjin’s heart clenched with affection, but the overwhelming need to share this moment with someone else bubbled up inside him. Specifically, with them. His mates. They had all been waiting for Felix to open up to the idea of joining their relationship, and now… it was really happening.

Carefully, so as not to wake Felix, Hyunjin reached for his phone on the bedside table. He opened the group chat and hesitated for only a second before his fingers flew across the screen.

Hyunjin couldn’t hold back a smile at the immediate flurry of excitement, his heart feeling lighter knowing that the rest of the guys were just as thrilled as he was.

Changbin: That’s good! That means he’s taking another step.

Hyunjin’s breath caught for a moment. Han had shared a very intimate night with Felix, the closeness they shared was undeniable. And Seungmin--well, Seungmin had already kissed Felix not too long ago and Jeongin went on a picnic with Felix as well, and that had been a big step too. But this and Jisung's night as well, this--this felt like progress, like Felix was starting to actually embrace the idea of them. All of them. Or maybe half, until he goes on dates with Changbin, Minho and Chan too.
