Wednesday, November 2nd

I woke up to my alarm going off and groaned. I quickly flipped over trying to make the noise stop as soon as possible. Once I successfully turned the alarm off, I sat up, rubbing my eyes sleepily.

I hopped out of my warm bed and unlocked my phone to check my to do list for today as I walked to the bathroom.

6:45 wake up
7 do hair
7:20 get dressed
7:30 breakfast
7:45 drive to school
3 get home and do homework
4 grocery shopping
5 free time
5:30 make dinner
6:15 any homework left
7 free time
8:45 shower and get ready for bed
9:15 write schedule for next day
9:30 go to bed

I checked off 'wake up' and shut my phone off, looking into the mirror. I noticed a black smudge around one of my eyes and I leaned closer to the mirror in confusion. I didn't wear any makeup yesterday...

Just then, black writing caught my attention and I looked at my hand. Eli's note to me yesterday must have come off a little when I rubbed my eyes. I laughed and saw that you could still make out the numbers on my skin.

Maybe I should add it to my phone before it rubs off completely. I grabbed my phone once again and typed the number into my contacts quickly and started off my day like normal, checking off the boxes in my schedule as I went.

When I got to school I met Phoebe and Lily by the front doors. I quickly went into a detailed story about the events of yesterday with Eli while we headed to our lockers, "and then he wrote his number on my hand..." I showed them the small remains of pen that wouldn't come off.

"And to think, yesterday you said you'd be surprised if he remembered you." Lily laughed at the irony.

"Like I said yesterday," Phoebe begun, "we've been going to school with each other since we were six years old. It was was just a matter of time before one of us started talking to them."

It's true, we've known these kids our whole lives and we have a few mutual friends so having a conversation with one of them isn't the weirdest thing that could have happened yesterday.

"It's not like we're talking." I disagreed with part of Phoebe's statement, "He just needs my help with something which I'm sure is just homework or something dumb."

"I dunno, he gave you his number. He probably thinks you're a babe." She smirked.

"Whatever Pheebs." I rolled my eyes, calling her by her nickname.

By then we had all left to go to our first period classes which, lucky for me, is Algebra, yay...

Even though I don't love all of my classes, I always put my best foot forward so I can get into a good college and help my future family. Plus, it makes my parents super happy.

They aren't super strict, they're actually pretty cool, but they have high expectations for me and my sister Emma.

After Algebra, I headed to English, a class I actually enjoy. I sat down in my seat towards the middle of the class. Usually I sat next to a sweet girl named Ally but she wasn't there today and I didn't have any classes with Lily or Phoebe, unless lunch counts.
