Monday, November 28th
Manic Monday by The Bangles played in my car as I drove to school. I hummed along being the sucker I was for 80's music.
I was pretty excited to see Elijah after our date. I definitely liked spending time with him and I had so much freaking fun.
I couldn't deny that the date was the a lot of fun and even though I knew I should, I didn't want to think about what came next. It was the only thing in my life I wasn't trying to plan.
Lily, Phoebe, and Emma only gave me advice until after the date. They said it was just one date and that I shouldn't stress cause it could go badly. So, I didn't stress but it went good, it went so so good and now I don't know what to do from here.
I'm still trying to figure him out and figure out if whatever I'm feeling is worth getting hurt or worth the struggle I know it would be.
For now, the only thing I was going to worry about was the wrath of Lily and Phoebe.
I woke up this morning to ten texts from Phoebe and six from Lily. I told them I would tell them everything but I hadn't exactly done that yet.
The song changed to an ad as I pulled into the school parking lot. I parked quickly and started walking to my locker where I was met by Elijah at the front doors.
"Hey Bells." He greeted
"Bells?" I questioned with a giggle.
"Ya, I figured I need a nickname for you and that's all I came up with..." He frowned a little while we walked and I couldn't help but think how cute it made him look.
"That's what my sister, Phoebe, and Lily call me." I pointed out to him.
"Well shit that's not gonna work, I'm gonna need my own." The frown stayed on his face until he saw me chucking at him to which he joined.
"I had a great time last night." Elijah brought back up our date and I felt myself become a little flushed.
"Me to. It was seriously so fun and really just relaxing." I said in solace.
We reached my locker and Eli took the opportunity to look me straight in the eyes, as he seemed to be doing a lot lately. "We should do it again."
The thought of going on another date with him made me giddy. "Definitely." I said trying to contain my excitement.
AHHHHH HE THOUGHT IT WAS FUN TOOO!!!
Elijah looked like he was going to say something else but distant voices stopped him.
"Isabella Langley you are in so much trouble."
Shit
"Hey Phoebe, Lily." I acknowledged them guiltily.
"We're gonna steal her from you, Bella here has some explaining to do." They pulled me away from Elijah and my locker and looked at me with anticipation.
"Girlfriend, why didn't you call?" Lily asked.
"I know I know I'm sorry." I winced, "I was just so tired after the long day and I feel asleep..." I trailed off.
"Don't worry, we just want to know what happened." Phoebe spoke and Lily nodded vigorously in agreement. Someone put too much sugar into her hippie drink this morning.
"Ok ok, so he picked me up right? I didn't know where we were going so I asked and all he said was the beach and we pulled up to an empty parking lot, which was a little sketch not gonna lie," Phoebe and Lily chuckled while rolling their eyes. "So we followed this path to the beach and it was amazinggg. We talked and talked and joked, and we ate dinner and watched the sunset, it was so fun you guys." I explained in a brief summary.
