Tuesday, November 15th

As my alarm went off Tuesday morning, I smiled, excited to start the day.

My mind started to wander as I stretched out of bed. I thought of the way Eli said my name, I thought about our new friendship, or whatever it was.

Phoebe and Lily returned back from the bathroom minutes after Elijah left lunch yesterday and insisted I tell them everything, so I did.

I still didn't know what it was going to mean, but I was just gonna roll with it, a concept that was very new to me. I guess you couldn't plan these sort of things.

I laughed slightly and checked off my first task before moving on to the next one. I turned on my shower, got ready, ate some food, and headed to school.

I was wearing ripped jeans, a simple grey sweater, black converse and my hair was in a long messy braid down my back. Perfect for a not quite winter just finishing fall kind of day.

(i mean wow)

"Hey, Alex." I said trying to keep my cool. Outside I was doing a pretty good job, but on the inside, I was dying, literally. I had never talked to this kid a day in my life.

"So, you're the girl who made me look like shark boy?" Alexander, or Alex, laughed.

"Ya, about that, I am so sorry" I said awkwardly. He was so hot.

Lily and Phoebe were right. How had I ever doubted them.

I mean woah.

"No, It's fine. It was pretty funny, even though I still find crumbs of glue in my hair." Alex and I laughed with each other.

He was actually really fun to talk to.

"We should hang out sometime," Alex said easily.

"Ya, here, I'll give you my number." I said shakily from the cold. I pulled out a pen and almost got a piece of paper but decided to take a page from Eli's book. I grabbed Alex's hand and wrote my number down. I swore O could hear Elijah scoff but I didn't acknowledge it.

I looked up once I was done and saw Alex giving me a goofy smile. I looked into his hazel eyes and offered him a big smile back. We both laughed at each other until we heard someone cough. Alex and I both looked over and saw Elijah with his jaw and hands clenched, an irritated look on his face.
