"So what kind of revenge are we taking about?" I asked Elijah. We were sitting in English talking about the details of this so called 'revenge plan.' Thankfully, we had a substitute so we weren't doing much.
"Well, Alex fucked my girlfriend and we broke up so whatever does that justice."
Huh...so that's what this has been all about. Guess my plan to get it out of him is useless now...
He must really like this girl then.
I remembered seeing him walking down the hallways with his arm around his model worthy girlfriend. "You mean Makenzie?" I said like I've tasted something sour. I really really do not like her. She's never done anything bad to me but I've always disliked her. I guess it's the way she treats people that makes her so intolerable to me. She's so rude to other people and she acts like she's above everybody else, I hate it.
(gigi hadid as makenzie kent ladies and gents:):))
"Ya..." he nodded his head slowly.
"She really cheated on you?" I asked surprised. I don't know why I was though, Makenzie wasn't exactly one to hold a relationship. I guess when you can have every boy you want, that's exactly what you do, go around getting every boy you can. Alex is pretty easy on the eyes as well so it makes sense she went for him if all people. I just can't believe Alex would do that to his best friend either. I could never do that to Lily or Phoebe.
"Ya, but we weren't really serious so it doesn't matter." He brushed it off quickly.
"Sooooo," I said dragging out the word, "if you weren't serious, then why are you going through all of this to get back at Alex?" I asked now thoroughly confused.
Eli looked my way and chuckled a little, shaking his head.
What's so funny about this...?
"Cause it hurt my ego ok? Is that what you want to hear?" He said, his mood changing immediately, his tone sharp. I flinched back and sunk into my seat.
Looks like I hit a nerve...whoops.
I guess it made sense though, his ego was hurt and he had to do something to repair it. At least he had the balls to admit it.
"Props to admitting that." I said and turned to face him. He could snap at me but I wouldn't let him scare me off. "Still must suck." I said and shrugged my shoulders a little, my fingers running through my hair.
