Saturday, November 12th

"WAKE UP!"

I jolted awake, sitting up in my bed immediately and groaned, "What do you waaaaant?"

"It's nine thirty, we're leaving at eleven!" Emma screamed excitedly.

"I almost forgot, you're a morning person." I grumbled and plopped back down into my plush pillows.

Why did she have to ruin my peaceful, serene, comfortable sleep?

"Yup, now let's make you look presentable."

"Gee thanks." I said sarcastically and rolled over into my pillows. "We're only going to the mall, I don't need to impress anyone." Truthfully, I'd rather just wear jeans and a t-shirt.

"Then do it for me? Please?" She pled with me.

"Do your worst." I joked, too tired to refuse. Emma took that as an immediate invitation and ripped the covers off of me. I whimpered into my pillow. "Noooooo." I dragged out.

"Get up you lazy bone." Emma said and grabbed my ankles, dragging me out of my bed, literally.

I'd learned that it was pointless to argue with Emma because once she had her mind set on something, it was very difficult to get her to change her mind about it. She was incredibly stubborn.

An hour later I was wearing light ripped jeans with a simple yellow cotton t-shirt, and converse with my brown hair natural, flowing down my back.

Emma was wearing jeans similar to mine with holes and a white long sleeved top that fit loosely, white converse, and her hair messily hanging on her shoulders in cute waves

"Let's go!" Emma shouted loudly.

We both hopped into Emma's car and drove to the mall.

The first store we went to was Hollister but I dragged Emma out because it smelled like way too much cologne in there and it gave me major headaches.

After Hollister, we went to American Eagle and we both got a couple things from there. One more store followed and then we decided to take a break.

"So how are you feeling?" Emma asked.

"Great actually. I never really go out so this is fun."

"Good, Eli's not worth all the moping. Or maybe you really are just boring." She teased.

"I don't like him Em." She laughed but changed the subject.

"So, who do Lily and Phoebe like?" She asked, always curious about the lives of my friends.

"No one. Well I don't think so. They always swoon over Elijah and his friends Alex, Rem and Ryan, but it's nothing serious. It's more that all those boys have a reputation of being the most attractive people on planet earth and Phoebe and Lily are just succumbing to what they've been told and feeding the hype about it." I explained briefly. "They are attractive," I clarified, "but everyone just makes it seem like they were hand crafted by God." I said with an eye roll and Emma chuckled.
