"Two hit albums, four singles, and a new album coming on the way--Gabrielle Bosko has made her claim on the music industry and she is here to stay, ladies and gentlemen!"

Gabi laughed and crossed one of her legs over the other. "Well, things have just started taking off for me in the past few months and I couldn't be more grateful."

"Taking off would be an understatement."

Gabrielle was currently in California, making a quick pit stop before her next show in Germany. Alex Montrey was a talk show host known for his youthful approach on topics like the music industry, making him very popular among teenagers and even tweens. Daphne had suggested Gabrielle take the interview, seeing as that demographic was currently paying her bills. She wasn't much for talk shows, or talking about herself in general, but it was an excuse to put on a cute outfit and hang out in Cali. The first hour of the talk show had gone well--Alex had asked her about her career and her new album coming out, and drilled her on her newfound popularity.

"So, tell me, what's it like being as young as you are and having this kind of fame? You're only twenty-one, right?"

"As of three weeks ago, actually." Gabi paused while the live audience applauded. "Honestly, it has its good and bad's. Like, I'm insanely grateful  for all of the fans and fame that I get because it allows me to do what I love and travel to these amazing place, and meet these amazing people. But I find it hard to always be on the spotlight, you know? Always having my personal life put out on the big screen. I guess it's something to get used to."

Alex leaned forward in his seat, resting his chin on his hand. "Well, you seem to have somewhat of a normal personal life, besides the occasional partying..."

She smirked and waved a hand at him. "Alright, now, funny joke."

"Really, though, I think your fans would agree that there still is a lot of mystery to you and your persona. I mean, all we really know is your Polish heritage and a few of your friends, what other hobbies do you have?" Alex glanced toward the crowd. "What do you do for fun?"

Gabi smiled through gritted teeth. Talking about her childhood was something she didn't expect to be doing at four pm on a Wednesday evening.

"I don't think there really is much to it. I grew up in Poland and traveled to America to chase my dreams, I think that's the classic origin story." She shrugged, repeating the media-trained phrase she had been saying her whole life. "And as for hobbies..."

Gabrielle had to think about it. Her life was pretty boring, besides hanging out with her friends and spending late nights writing. But part of her job was to be interesting--to be influential to the rest of the world so that she could hit top ten on the billboards. She thought about what could make her interesting...

"Well, I've recently been getting into Formula One," she said hesitantly, smiling as the 'oohs' and 'aahs' from the audience. "After my show in London, I decided to swing by Silverstone and watch the race, and meet a bunch of the incredible drivers. It's all very exciting and amazing, I had a lot of fun."

"Wow." Alex grinned at her. "We've got a Formula One fan in the house!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and claps, clearly Gabrielle had been living under a rock--Formula One was a lot more popular than she'd originally thought.

"I don't know everything about the sport, but I think maybe I should start." Gabi laughed again. "But really, I'm quite a boring person outside of my job."

He glanced at her, as if waiting on her to say more but smiled when she didn't. "Well, maybe it's your good looks that create the mystery. I mean, come on, guys! I didn't know they could make people this beautiful, what's your secret?"

"Genetics?" Gabrielle grimaced. "I think all Slavic girls have a certain mysterious beauty. Makes you want to know more, doesn't it?"

Alex seemed to be pleased at her banter as she leaned forward and blinked her eyes at him. "I can say for certain, Miss Bosko, that the rest of the world is dying to know more about you."

He turned back to face the camera and pointed a finger towards it. "Thanks for tuning in to this exclusive interview with famed singer and songwriter Gabrielle Bosko, big round of applause! It's been ninety minutes of pure fun, glad we could have you."

She smiled towards the audience as they began clapping. "Glad I could be here!"

Alex made one last closing remark before the camera's red lights shut off and the studio lights flicked back to a more sight-friendly one. Crew rushed over to Gabi and began pulling the microphones off that were clipped to her dress and coiling them up. Daphne shuffled over to where Alex was being un-microphones and they shook hands, saying a quick word before he waved to Gabi and left her on stage.

"Good job," Daphne said. "I'm surprised you lasted the whole ninety minutes."

"Oh, trust me, it was a struggle." Gabrielle unzipped her dress slightly so she had more breathing room. "Can we please get going, I need to get out of this thing and into something looser and thinner."

"Yep, already signed for you, we're good to leave now." Daphne grabbed her phone. "That's one of the good things about a live show."

Gabrielle silently hugged Daphne and thanked God for the best manager on Earth. "I like the pre-recorded ones better. I don't like knowing that people are watching me speak, literally as I speak."

"Of course you don't, Gabi."

She rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone as the two made their way out of the building.

"Who are you texting?"

Gabi's eyes snapped up from her phone. "What?"

"You're smiling at your phone, you never do that." Daphne furrowed her eyebrows and tried to peek over Gabi's phone. "So who is it?"

Gabi turned her phone off and slipped it into her jacket pocket. "Lilly and Bridge. They sent a meme about Formula One."

"Right."

Daphne definitely didn't believe her but decided to ignore it and go back on her phone while the two women made their escape.
