The noise from the PR area was making Lando queasy, he was already exhausted and covered in sweat, he found no benefit from reliving his mediocre race to the public.

"P8, Lando, what are your thoughts on the race?"

He sighed and wiped sweat from his forehead. "Well, you know, obviously not where we wanted to be, seeing as we've had amazing results the past few races. But I'm happy to have scored some good points in a semi-home race and looking forward to the next."

Lando was so media trained he might've been a walking script at this point. The truth was, he pitted way to early, losing time and forcing him to spend the next twenty laps making it up. If it weren't for the new updates regarding speed in his car, Lando would be back to P16 where he started his Formula One career. 

"And is your family here to support?"

Lando tried not to flinch. His parents had refused to come, saying it was too stressful for them and too far away, his siblings were all busy with school in some form or another. They all watched on TV, though, so that evened it out. 

He chuckled instead. "They're somewhere out there."

After a few more pestering questions, Lando made his way through the garage and began his process of cleaning up. 

By the time he was headed to his hotel, it was already seven in the evening. He pulled out his phone.
