𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲

"Good evening, Hamburg!" Gabi smiled wildly as she walked onto the stage, laughing as the crowd erupted in cheers. 

She was still giddy from seeing Lando backstage, so her smile was as genuine as it came and her laughter was full of light. She held a hand over her heart as the crowd continued shouting and cheering for her, a sensation that filled her with pride and gratitude and almost brought tears to her eyes.

She glanced at the top right of the stadium, a small section that had the words VIP writted just beneath it, but she would notice him anywhere. he still had the hat on, but he'd taken the sunglasses off. Decorating his face was a shit-eating grin that made Gabi question whether to skip the show entirely and go home with him right then and there. Oscar was next to him, clapping alongside Rebecca who looked just as stunning as the last time Gabi had seen her. And then there was Carlos, with a drink in his hand talking to some random security guard. 

"How are we doing tonight?" She heard more screaming and took that as a good sign. "Thank you all for coming out, let's have a great night, shall we?"

The first song of her set list started playing, 'Reminder', and she did exactly what Bridget had told her to do: she sang her little heart out. 

One and a half hours later, Gabi was sweating and panting as her final song came to a close. Well, at least what her fans thought was her final song--she'd queued her surprise songs too. 

"Alright, Hamburg. You know the drill." She joked, brushing a strand of hair from her face as she looked up at the VIP section. Lando had been clapping all night, not quite singing along because he didn't know all of her songs, but putting enough effort in to make Gabi's heart swell. 

She kept her eyes trained on him as the beginning notes of 'Novacane' started playing, and she watched his smile grow even larger, if that was possible. 

Even Gabi couldn't stop herself from smiling as she brought the microphone to her lips once again.

I got what I wanted, did-didn't I can't feel nothin'
Super human, even when we're fuckin', Viagra poppin'
Every single record, autotunin', zero emotion, muted emotion
Pitch-corrected, computed emotion, uh

She stood, walking to the other side of the stage and reaching her hand out to the fans as they sang along. Gabi could barely hear her own voice through their screams.

I blame it on the model broad with a Hollywood smile
Stripper booty with a rack like wow
Brain like Berkeley, met him at Coachella, went to see Jigga, he went to see Z-trip
It's perfect
I took a seat on the ice cold lawn

Gabi could hardly breathe--she was so happy and so alive, singing this song in front of these people. She'd never gotten the chance to sing this song live and she was just now realizing how fun it was. Maybe Lando was onto something. 

She walked back to center stage and ran a hand through her hair. 

He handed me a ice blue bong, whatever
He said he wanna be a dentist really badly
He in school paying for tuition doing porn in the Valley

Gabi grinned, staring up at the VIP box as she ran a hand down her waist, swinging her hips to the music and singing along.

She was driving Lando crazy, and she was more than happy to. Even from afar, she coudl see his face--his jaw clenching and his grin faltering. 

Gabi looked right at him and winked.
