Lando adjusting the top button of his button-down shirt, desperately trying to peel his eyes way from the way the silk dress clung to Gabi's body. He had guessed on sizing and ended up going a size smaller, and boy, was he happy he did that. She looked beautiful, radiant, and her hair was fashioned the same way as she first time he saw her--laying down her open back in loose, blonde ringlets.

The car was just as sleek as her dress, and the driver was completely silent in the front seat. Lando had rolled up the partition before Gabi even entered the car, distrusting of himself and his own desires, however he would hate to ruin her beautiful dress before they even got to the restaurant. Her hands were decorated with thick silkver rings and she smelled like a cool winter night.

"Stop staring at me."

"I can't help it." Lando smiled softly, bringing a hand to her knee. "You look beautiful."

Gabi rolled her eyes, placing her hand on top of his. "You clean up nice yourself, Norris."

"Say something in Polish." He chuckled. "I just realized I've never heard you speak your own language."

She grinned. "What should I say?"

"Whatever you want."

Gabi rolled her eyes again. "Uhh...Chciałbym móc spędzać z tobą każdą noc."

"What on earth?" Lando laughed. "Was that gibberish?"

She whacked him. "Asshole. I'll never speak in Polish again. You'll never know what I said."

He flashed his eyes at her. "Wait, please tell me. Please."

"I said I wish I could spend every night with you." She brouhgt his hand to her mouth, kissing the side of this thumb.

"We will. Sooner or later, we will."

The car pulled to a stop outside the restaurant and Lando reached for his wallet, pulling out some cash and rolling down the partition to give it to the driver. "I'll give a call when to meet us back here. Thank you, again, Martin."

"Of course." The driver didn't turn his head, only reached back to accept the cash as Lando intertwined his hand with Gabi's.

"Ready?" He mumbled. "Just keep your head down and walk in as fast as you can. There shouldn't be anyone there, but just in case."

Gabi nodded, sliding closer to him as he carefully pulled the door open and stepped out of the car, clinging onto her hand as she followed.

They kept their heads down, speeding across the sidewalk and carefully through the black-stained glass doors of the restaurant. Despite keeping his head down, Lando could not tell if there was anyone near the doors, or on the sidewalk, but he hoped that the lack of flashing lights or voices around him was a good sign.

Once they were inside, the doors shut behind them and the silence of the restaurant was a small comfort to him.

"We're in, we're here." Lando wrapped an arm around her waist, pressing her against his side as they both breathed a sigh of relief in unison.

She inhaled. "That was kind of easy, right? That felt really easy..."

"Yes, that was easy." He kissed the side of her forehead, hoping to remove her worries. "The hard part is over, now we can relax."

"Yes." She still seemed worried, only furthering Lando's concern. "Let's relax."

"Mr. Norris? Ms. Bosko?" A woman in white stepped towards them with menus. "Right this way, please."

They were led upstairs through stairs in the back, hidden away from the regulars, and seated at a small table in the corner of the empty room.

"What would you like to drink?" The woman asked once they were settled. "We can make anything you like, we have the most expensive liquor."

Gabi glanced at Lando questioningly and he nodded toward her.

"I'll have a negroni, please."

Lando smiled at the waitress. "Whiskey. Thank you."

"I'll be right back with that."

Lando placed his hand on Gabis and the two connected their fingers. "Thank you for agreeing to tonight."

"It's not so bad." She smirked. "Everything's gone quite smoothly."

He grinned. "Let's hope it stays that way, angel."
