Loki came back from Asgard to visit you, he stood in the middle of the Avengers tower and smiled.

"I have returned mortals!" He said before looking around, he only saw Peter eating cereal.

"The child... Where is everyone?" He grumbled as Peter shoved more cereal in his mouth.

"The infirmary, Y/N had another seizure. She's okay, she just needs rest." He said as Loki disappeared into thin air.

He appeared in the infirmary to see Steve sitting next to you and talking, he rushed in.

"Y/N! Are you okay?" He asked in a panic, sitting on the other side of your bed and taking your hand.

"I'm okay... Everything is fine, I was just scared." You muttered as he sighed in relief and kissed your forehead.

"I'll let you two have some time alone." Steve said as you smiled at him.

"Thanks, Steve." You said watching him leave.

Loki looked down at you and you could see how guilty he looked.

"I'm okay, love. I promise." You said with a smile as he kissed your hand softly.

"I wish I could take all of this away from you...even more so I wish I could be here every second." He said as you smiled softly.b you I would...but it's not safe for me." You said making him nod.

"Then I will come here." He said, causing you to look at him in shock.

"Loki, you need to be in Asgard to help Thor rule." You said as he chuckled softly.

"He can handle it... Or at the very least I'm going to spend more time here with you. Three weeks here one week in Asgard. I won't take no for an answer." He replied, running his hand through your hair.

"Well, I can't argue with that." You whispered as he leant in and kissed you softly.

"How are you feeling mentally?" He asked, still holding onto your hand.

"Pretty shaken up... I hate that I'm a hero and...a simple thing like this can end me up in the infirmary. How can I be a hero?" You muttered, not looking at Loki.

"I think it makes you even more of a hero. Beacsue, despite everything you give it your all, you work harder than anyone I know even when I tell you to relax you don't. This is something you have and have to deal with and you've done it like it's barely anything and you barely complain. How many other heroes could do that?" He asked making you blush and smile softly.

"You always see the best in me, don't you?" You replied, squeezing his hand softly.

"How can I not, my love?"
