"So, a doctor is basically just a healer?" Loki questioned as you chuckled softly.

"Yeah, pretty much. But, instead of lile herbs and stuff they use medicines and all this high teach shit." You muttered while you dressed yourself, ready to go out.

"And why do I need to come?" He grumbled, not looking forward to being around a bunch of humans.

"Well, you're the only one who's free and I hate going alone. Don't make fun of me." You replied, getting your jacket and shoes on.

"Would the princess like me to hold her hand too?" He replied with a smirk as you stopped and glared at him.

"I will throw you out of this tower." You growler making him laugh he walked in front of you and placed his finger under your chin.

"I'm just teasing, my dear." He said as you blushed a little and sighed.

"I just get scared going..." You muttered, Loki ran his finger down the side of your face.

"I'm sorry for teasing you, I don't mind if you need me to hold your hand." He said you quickly backed away and blushed slightly.

"Thanks." You muttered making him chuckle softly at how flustered you were.

"Let's get going shall we?"

--

You sat next to Loki at the doctors surgery, filling out endless forms.

"So, why are you so scared of the doctor?" Loki asked flipping through a random magazine.

He could see that you hesitated for a moment.

"Alright, why don't I tell you something embarrassing? Might make you feel better." He said as you looked at him and smiled a little.

"I'd never deny an embarrassing story." You replied, making him chuckle softly.

"When I was growing up in Asgard I never liked going to the healers, not because I was nervous but because the healers were quite attractive. And often my body would react...physically. So, I would stand there right in front of the healers and my mother with..." He trails off as you start to laugh.

He laughs with you as the few people in the waiting room look at you both.

"Shh, everyone will hear you." Loki scolds you with a smile as you finally calmed down.

"Feeling better?" He asked as you looked at him and smiled.

"I am, thank you. The reason I hate going is because I spent most of my childhood here. I was always sick in one or another, getting medications and needles and it felt endless... The doctors never cared, they would shame me and just make me feel like I was crazy." You whispered as Loki looked at you and listened.

His face softened as he reached forward and held your hand.

"Well, the difference now is that you have a friend who is a God that can turn them into a frog if they're rude to you." He said making you chuckle softly, squeezing his hand.

"I'm glad I brought you with me."
