You came home to your apartment after a long day and couldn't help but feel like you weren't alone.
You heard the cock of a gun and slowly turned to see none other than the winter soldier sitting on your couch.
"No sudden movements." He grumbled as you stared at him in shock.
"Bucky..." You whispered, seeing a small reaction in his face.
"Who are you? Why is that name familiar? Who was the man I saw with you, the one who knew my name?" He asked, your could see his tough exterior starting to crack while he asked these question.
He stood up and slowly stalked towards you.
He stared down at you and everything in your heart wanted to jump into his arms.
Your fiancé you had only learnt was alive last month was standing in front of you.
Ever since you and Steve had seen him you hadn't stopped trying to find him.
"Why are you so familiar?" He whispered, coming closer.
He placed the gun down and slowly placed his hand on your hip.
"Are you in there, Buck?" You whispered as he looked into your eyes.
You could see so much torment.
"I've...I've touched you before, my hands remember." He whispered, his hand running up the side of your body.
"They tried to erase my memory but I kept seeing you... Hearing you laugh, knowing the warmth of your body. Who are you?" He whispered, his voice breaking.
"My name is Y/N. We knew each other a long time ago, before the war." You replied while he looked deeply into your eyes.
"I loved you... Didn't I?" He whispered as you tried your best to keep in your tears.
"Yes... You did. We were going to get married after you came back from war... But, you never did." You replied before he lunged forward and kissed you passionately.
His mind trying to find any sliver of a memory.
You gripped his shoulders and kissed him back, years of yearning and grieving melted away as you kissed him.
You pulled away for a minute.
"Bucky... I can help, okay? We have to get you away from Hydra." You whispered before he pinned you against the wall.
"I don't care... I don't fucking care about anything right now! Just shut up and let me fucking have this!" He shouted, his metal hand wrapped around your throat.
"I deserve you... I deserve this. I need this!" He shouted again, kissing you roughly.
This time it wasn't sweet, and it wasn't Bucky.
It was the soldier.
"Bucky... Stop." You whispered, trying to get your breath back.
He began to cry as he looked at you.
"No! No! Just shut up! This is the first time I have felt something." He whispered the last part, his hand releasing its grip as you slowly caught your breath back.
He stared into your eyes, trying to search something.
"I need you." He whispered, you looked at him sadly and slowly reached up to hold his face.
"I'm here, okay? I need you to trust me." You whispered as he stared at you, his mind fighting between the winter soldier and Bucky.
"You're mine... You're mine, okay?" He muttered as you nodded a little.
"I don't own anything... But, I own you. I own you." He grumbled, you could see darkness forming in his eyes again.
You slowly grabbed a pot behind you and smashed it over his head causing him to fall onto the ground unconscious.
You panted and rubbed your head before rushing to grab your phone and dialing Steve's number.
"Y/N? Everything okay?" He asked, hearing you pant softly.
"It's Bucky... He's here, I've managed to knock him out but...he's dangerous." You muttered as the line went silent.
"I'll be there in ten." Steve replied before hanging up without another word.
You put your phone down and stared at the unconscious man on your floor, you noticed his head bleeding a little.
"Damn it." You grumbled before going to the bathroom and grabbing a few bandaids and placing them on the small wound.
You sat on the floor and just stared down at him.
After a few minutes Steve burst through the door to see his old friend unconscious on the floor.
"How did he even find you?" Steve muttered as you sighed and stood up.
"I don't know... We need to get him to the tower." You muttered as Steve nodded and slowly picked him up.
"Don't break your back, grandpa."
--
You sat in the tower, staring at Bucky through a cell.
You legs crossed as you watched him breath in his sleep.
Steve came in and handed you a cup of coffee.
"Thank you." You whispered begore he sat beside you and sighed.
"I'm still expecting to wake up and all of this is a dream. I just can't fathom that he's alive." Steve whispered as you both stared at Bucky.
"Well, I think we've both learnt that life surprises us... I thought you were dead, you thought I was dead, Bucky thought we were both dead, we thought he was dead... Okay, I'm getting a headache." You muttered making Steve chuckle softly.
"I guess at the end of the day we just be glad we've got each other... And now Bucky." He replied as you looked at Bucky and smiled a little..
"Yeah..."
