We buried Damian as deep as we could under the ground. We patched Mr. Harrison up leaving him in a room across the hall letting him be alone and tried to make a fire in one of the rooms on the third floor of the bigger buildings. Once we got the fire started everyone just gathered around the fire. I spent the rest of the day keeping to myself. I stayed away from everyone in the room as I stayed away from the fire too. No one really talked and when they did they would try get me into the conversation which just made me turn around from them. I walked over into the other room across the hall where Mr. Harrison was unconscious. I lifted his head into my lap as I rested my back against the wall. I played with his hair and admired his sleeping figure. His shirt was open meaning he was technically shirtless. I rested my hand on his chest running my hand down to where his wound was. I thought it was all my fault he was stabbed and it was all my fault Damian died. I began to tear up as I balled my fists as I rested it on Mr. Harrison's chest. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice Mr. Harrison was awake until his hand caressed my hand wiping away my tears.
"What's wrong, my love?" He asked quietly as I could tell he hurt. I shook my head leaning back more. "Come on, sweetheart. Are you upset I'm hurt?" He asked as he tried sitting up a bit which he groaned in pain laying back down.
"Just forget about it." I said seriously as I moved my hands off of his chest. He grabbed my hands placing kisses on them before he placed them on his chest again.
"You don't need to be afraid to tell me anything." He said sweetly as he held my hands. I looked down at him as he looked up at me. I placed my palms flat on his chest.
"I'm just-I feel like everything is my fault. Damian wouldn't be dead, you wouldn't be wounded. I just feel like this is all my fault." I said as I began to cry again. I never cried and honestly I hated the feeling of crying. I felt weak. Mr. Harrison looked at me as if he was about to cry.
"Please don't cry, my love. I don't like seeing you hurt." He said as he held my hand squeezing them tight. I looked down at him as he just gave me a look full of love and worry. I leaned down and kissed his lips all my fears fading. I heard footsteps coming out of the other room where everyone else was. I heard like a cough of someone who wanted our attention. We broke our kiss looking at Shawn who just stared at us. Once we locked eyes with him he came running over to us hugging Mr. Harrison quickly and gently before curling up beside me. It was like a little family.

We heard more footsteps rushing into the room.
"Yeah uh we gotta go." Alayna said as everyone crowded in the room. They kept looking out the door and down the hall. I was confused.
"Nice to see you too." Mr. Harrison said looking up at everyone who looked afraid and full of panic.
"Hi. But yeah we gotta go." Owen said as he kneeled down to my level helping Mr. Harrison up. I got up lifting Shawn in my arms.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked as everyone looked out in the hall both ways before shuffling quickly out of the room. Owen and Mr. Harrison were slow behind us but they were still a safe distance behind. "You still never answered m-" I was cut off by a hand slapping over my mouth. We coward behind a corner as we heard voices. They sounded familiar.
"Those kids would have never gotten past that fire. It was too big for them to escape." It was the elderly couple. I put Shawn down as I got pissed. I grabbed Emily's shot gun. I gripped it and pumped the gun.
"Uh what's that?" I heard the woman say. I appeared out of the corner as I shot them each in the leg. I walked over to them placing my foot on their chests. I pumped the shot gun again aiming it at the mans head.
"Please don't shoot." He said looking genuinely scared of me. My jaw was clenched and my muscles were flexed.
"You think starting a fire is funny? Stealing someone's car is funny? If you didn't set that house on fire my friend wouldn't be dead and you wouldn't be under my foot with my shut gun pressed to your head. You are terrible people and you both don't deserve to live." I said through gritted teeth as everyone was out from hiding staring in shock and probably scared at how pissed I was. I pressed the shot gun end into the mans temple.
"Brooklyn?" I heard Shawn say as I turned around still pissed. He backed away slightly scared. He hid behind Mr. Harrison. I looked at everyone who looked at me scared at how angry I was. I looked back at the man and woman in pain on the floor. I dropped the gun and walked away from everyone. I walked out to one building instantly punching the wall.
"Brooklyn.." I heard as I turned around quickly my fists balled to my side.
"WHAT?!" I said loudly as I was face to face with Mr. Harrison. I softened a bit when I looked at his scared facial expression. "I'm so sorry." I said as I sat down on the ground placing my head in my hands as I cried. He came and sat beside me. He struggled to sit but he did it anyway.
"Brooklyn, your knuckles are bleeding." He said grabbing my hands as he took off his shirt wiping my knuckles clean. I stared at his shirtless figure. "What never seen a shirtless guy?" He smirked at me. I blushed and ignored his comment looking away from him. He placed his hand on my cheek turning me to face him. "I really love you." He whispered as he leaned in. I smiled as he pressed his lips to mine.
"I love you more." I whispered back as he just held my hand. He kissed me one last time before we were interrupted.
"Sorry to interrupt but we need to go. Zombies are coming towards us. Those people you don't have to worry about them." Emily said as we helped Mr. Harrison up walking him to the SUV we got back. The zombies came running towards the car. I barely got into the vehicle before the one grabbed my leg. I kicked it's head making it spin before I slammed the door shut curling into Mr. Harrison scared for my life.
"So it's okay. Your safe now." He whispered as I relaxed in his arms. Emily was driving as I sat in the back with Mr. Harrison, Owen and Jack.
"Mr. Harrison your bleeding again." Owen stated pointing at the blood dripping from his wound. "Lay down." Owen said as Mr. Harrison laid his head on my shoulder as I leaned against the window making him feel more comfortable. "Jack grab the first aid kit." Owen ordered as Jack grabbed it. "We need to find a hospital to get him stitched up. We are running out of gauze to wrap." Owen said as he wrapped the gauze around the Mr. Harrison's torso. Emily turned slightly.
"You expect me to find a hospital?" She asked in disbelief. Owen stopped what he was doing staring at her.
"Yes or else he will bleed out and we don't want that so step on it and find a hospital." Owen said seriously which he was never like. Emily backed off from commenting like she would usually do. I looked down at Mr. Harrison who winced in pain every time Owen placed a piece of gauze on his wound. I really hope we find a hospital soon. I don't want to lose someone else close to me.
