Epilogue: The New Beginning

We were comfortable inside Safe Haven unlike any other place ever. We all I guess you can say had jobs to do. Owen was now using his doctor skills and compute knowledge in the hospital where he spent majority of his days coming home every night. He seemed to fit right in there and he was eventually named the head doctor because he knew so much.
Emily was a part of the guards. She was now apart of the people who stand on top of the wall with guns on the look out for zombies coming towards us. She was in love with the job and she had a relationship I guess with Marcus which was good since they were like the exact person.
Alayna and Jack were now fighting instructors. They taught people how to fight or they made sure that the fights people had were clean. They could kick anyone's ass if they wanted to. They loved waking up everyday just to go fight each other.
Shawn and King well they don't really have jobs but they do go to the day care where they have plenty of friends and sometimes when people need King's smelling skills or attack skills they take him out on the field. They are usually never separated though.
Nick was now working in the library where he taught a lot of history to people who wanted to learn all about world history. He was like a human sized encyclopedia and people loved him because he had answers to questions that they had.
Auntie CJ spent most of her days at the houses doing what a mother does. She cooked and she cleaned. But if she wasn't doing that she spent time with some of the other mothers she met, where they would go to Relaxation Alamode. She enjoyed that.
Austin still spent a lot of time with Alayna, but if she was fighting, he was at the school teaching kids all about whatever he wanted to teach them and sometimes he even sat with Mr. Harrison learning about what Mr. Harrison taught.
Mr. Harrison was now a teacher but instead of teaching kids what he wanted, he got them to tell him what they wanted to learn and that's what he does. He teaches them what they want to learn. He was also a great teacher.
As for me, well I was now what everyone liked to call it a runner. I was very loved there and I was one of the fastest runners. I would get up everyday and change into my outfit. Everyday I got to choose new weapons if I wanted to. George (the head leader) and his son Derek took me under their wings helping me out whenever I needed help, which was rare since I could handle everything myself. Whenever I went out I knew I could depend on Derek to have my back. Mr. Harrison and I still are together. We raise Shawn as if he was our own. It's like a little family.
This is what life is going to be like from now on, well hoping things go the way we plan. For now this is our home. This is our Safe Haven. This is our life.
