Chapter Five

They both walked into the hallway and back into the library, where Olivia discovered a red book. She showed Leon and he shrugged, signifying that it could be useful for something. They kept walking to the lion. This time, she read out the pattern to Leon and he got out the medallion. They went back downstairs and placed them both on the Goddess Statue which opened the secret passageway a little.

Olivia leaned forward to see more of the room but couldn't see much as it was a tiny area.

Marvin then called out for them so they walked up to him.

"Hi, how are you holding up?" Olivia questioned.

"I'm alive" Marvin replied with a hint of humour and she smiled at him, feeling bad that we couldn't do anything about his state. "Come here, take a look," He said and turned the laptop with the viewing of cameras towards them.

He clicked on one of them and a girl was standing in front of the gates. She had her brunette hair in a ponytail, with strands coming from the front. She was wearing a red jacket and jeans. 

"Who is that?" Olivia asked.

Leon narrowed his eyebrows "I'm not sure but we have to speak to her"

Olivia agreed with Leon and they said our goodbyes to Marvin before they went into the Waiting Room. They found a Guide Pamphlet and there was another safe under the desk. Leon opened the door with the spade key and they walked into a hallway, getting out our flashlights as it was dark.

Just then, there was a sound of a helicopter and a crash. "Holy shit" Leon muttered.

"Let's just look around for now," she told him and he nodded in agreement.

They walked inside an Art Room and there was a statue which held a sceptre. There was an arm to it too but nothing happened when they placed it on the statue so they guessed they needed something else for that puzzle.

"The Red Book" Olivia muttered. She placed the book in the arm and it worked. The statue moved and released the sceptre.

They looked around the room for a little longer and found a Weapons locker key card.

When they walked out of the room and went through another door the girl was standing behind the gate. She tried to open it but it wouldn't budge.

She had a kind face so Olivia was first to introduce herself to her "Olivia Oakley"

"Claire Redfield" She smiled and then looked at Leon.

"Leon. Leon Kennedy" He said.

She chuckled "I guess you don't have a key in one of those fancy pockets?"

"Unfortunately, no..." Leon replied. 

"What are you doing here?" Olivia questioned.

"Surviving" She joked "I'm looking for my brother too"

"Any luck?" she asked.

She shook her head "No, not yet"

"Don't lose hope... I'm sure we're gonna find him-" Leon said to her but got cut off when the helicopter exploded. 

"Dammit," Olivia mumbled.

"We all know what that means, right?" Leon said.

"Dinner time" Claire replied, pulling out her gun. 

"I think you should go," Olivia told the girl.

She nodded "Take care of yourselves" and ran off. 

Leon spoke into his walkie-talkie "Uh, Marvin, we've got a situation here... we're surrounded by zombies!"
