A gate was blocking the entrance to the church and Olivia leaned against it, tired of all the walking and running they had to do.
"Seriously? They couldn't spare us one fucking gate?" Olivia whined.
Leon stood in front of her, looking at the church behind "It's annoying, I understand but we have got to get moving. The president's daughter is right on the other side of this. We're almost there" He reasoned.
"Okay," Olivia mumbled.
As they went on, Leon asked "Is your ankle okay?"
"Never better" Olivia replied and Leon rolled his eyes at her sarcastic response, wanting to know the true answer. "No, but all jokes aside, this ankle is bloody killing me"
"Stop a second" Leon said and she obliged. He kneeled in front of her and untied the bandage "I've got some more in my pocket"
Olivia nodded and let him do what he wanted. He looked at the ankle and it seemed bruised and cut up still. "Hm" He spoke "I'm no doctor but it looks like it isn't healing like it should be" Leon stated and then put on a new bandage on Olivia.
"Let me see your hands," She said, "Any better?"
Olivia untied the bandages from both of his hands and they were healing perfectly "That's weird. It's only been a few hours" She said, examining his hands. She then bandaged up his hands with new pieces of bandage.
Leon shrugged "They feel better too, to be honest"
"At least one of us is recovering well," Olivia said and Leon nodded.
They then got to a graveyard by the church after killing some more villagers. They walked through the graveyard and got to another gate, which was locked.
"You've gotta be joking" Olivia muttered and then turned on her earpiece. "Condor Two to Roost. The church is sealed up"
"And Baby Eagle?"
"Negative, nothing yet. But they sure do have this place locked up tight"
"I see. I can think of one reason they'd want to do so"
"Oh, she's here, that's for sure. We'll find a way in. Condor Two out"
Leon and Olivia find a way in and find a lakeside map which had a note on it, saying that they had to cross the lake for a key.
"A lake... let's hope for no more surprises" Leon said.
Olivia scoffed "I doubt that there won't be"
The two then went to a village nearby and explored that area for more resources and supplies as they were making it down to the lake.
When they were nearer to the lake, Olivia looked through binoculars to see if there was any danger close. Unsurprisingly, there was - There were two men on a boat, throwing a body into the lake and sailing away from it. As soon as they were out of sight, a massive water creature ate it.
"Oh, shit" Olivia exclaimed "Did you see that?"
"A glimpse" Leon responded "It doesn't look good"
Leon and Olivia then went to the dock and found a boat, which needed filling of the tank.
"Come on, fill the tank when you're done" Leon whined.
Olivia groaned in frustration "They're not making this easy for us, are they?"
As they were walking across a bridge, the wood broke and they both fell. They screamed in fright. "Jesus" Leon mumbled. Olivia hissed as she held onto her ankle lightly and Leon noticed "Shit, are you okay?"
