The next day, Leon, Claire, Sherry and Olivia woke up in a motel room in the middle of nowhere.

Claire and Olivia slept on the same bed as Sherry and Leon had a bunk bed. Olivia was lying normally whilst Claire had her head on the bottom of the bed and her feet next to Olivia's head.

Sherry liked the top bunk so Leon reluctantly gave her the top bunk, not wanting to argue with a twelve-year-old.

Olivia woke up first, groaning as she rubbed her eyes. She stretched her body and sat up, looking over at everyone else. She looked over at Claire and she was sleeping like the dead, her hair all over the place and her body facing diagonally.

Sherry was sleeping peacefully, cuddling with her teddy. Olivia felt bad for the little girl who watched both of her parents die in front of her.

She then looked over at Leon, who clearly looked like he never got much sleep, even when he was sleeping, he wasn't in the best position nor the calmest expression. His eyebrows were crossed and his arm was above his head, looking as if he was going to get up with a pulled muscle.

Olivia stood up and walked over to him, trying to keep light feet so she didn't wake anyone. She placed Leon's arm down to his chest.

Leon fluttered his eyes open. He relaxed his face as he saw it was Olivia in front of him. "Liv" He whispered in a raspy voice.

"Good morning" She smiled at him. "Did I wake you?"

Leon shook his head "No, I don't get much sleep anyway"

"Oh," Olivia replied, sighing.

Leon touched Olivia's hand and gently pulled her toward the bed which made her sit on it. "Come here," He said and laid Olivia down with him.

After a few minutes of cuddling, they heard a tiny voice call them "Leon? Liv?"

"Yes, Sherry?" Olivia replied.

"I'm hungry," Sherry told them.

"Claire will wake up in a moment and then we'll go for breakfast, alright?" Olivia responded and Sherry understood. With everything she experienced, the girl knew to be grateful for everything she had and she was glad to have the three, people to rely on.

Sherry climbed down from the top bunk and lay down with Olivia and Leon. Leon had his arm around Olivia as she was lying on his chest. Sherry fit just between the two and laid her head on Olivia's chest. Olivia stroked Sherry's hair "Did you sleep alright?" She questioned.

Sherry shook her head slightly "No. I had nightmares"

Olivia could guess why the little girl had nightmares. Raccoon City was a traumatising experience for them all in their own ways.

Luckily for Sherry, Claire woke up. "Claire!" Sherry exclaimed and ran up to the girl.

Claire yawned and stretched out her arms "Good morning, Sherry" She replied and then turned to Leon and Olivia "How did you guys sleep?"

Leon shrugged "With my eyes closed" he joked.

Olivia slightly pinched him on the arm which earned a hiss from him. She then turned back to Claire, who was laughing "I slept well enough, thank you. How about you?"

Claire sighed "Slept as much as I could"

"Breakfast" Sherry muttered and Olivia remembered how she said she was hungry therefore they all got ready and went for breakfast to a small diner. As they were eating the food, they talked.

"So... are you excited to go to Europe?" Olivia asked Claire.

She pondered on the question for a few seconds "I have to go find my brother"
