Chapter Fourteen

Third-person pov:

Diaz brothers stared at each other after Adaliah and Nyx left the house and shook their heads laughing at the little Devil in Angel costume walking around their home. Ezra and Vito are laughing their ass off while Klaus has an amused smile gracing his lips.

Klaus announced looking at his brothers: "I have an announcement to make"

They all turn serious and look at Klaus who says with a small smile: "You remember my friend, Grayson Black?"

Vincente asked: "Luciano Black second eldest son"

Klaus nodded saying: "They have some issues so they are hiring me for this case and I have to go to Italy"

Ezra and Vito poured together: "But why?"

Klaus said with a sigh: "Ez, Vi, babies calm down and listen to me first"

Ezra and Vito nodded their heads at him and waited patiently for him to talk: "As I was saying, I have to go to Italy next month so how about we all go together because I will be done with work in three to four days and join you guys cow this vacation. Adaliah will love it and Grayson's little sister is the same age as her so maybe they will be friends"

Vincente said nodding his head: "It's a good idea. Adaliah will enjoy it and it's been like forever since we last went on vacation"

Ezra and Vito grinned together: "Italy, we are coming"

Vincente shook his head saying: "How about you guys, go and check out the list of things we can do with Adaliah in Italy"

Ezra and Vito rushed upstairs to their study room to search for things while Klaus chuckled at them. Vincente got up from the couch saying: "I have some work"

Klaus nodded saying: "I have a face meet with a client"

Klaus called out: "Don't stress out much, Vince"

Ezra rushed downstairs and then slid from the railing of the stairs as Klaus called out walking to the kitchen: "Ez, you gonna get hurt"

Ezra rushes to the kitchen then put a hand over his heart saying dramatically: "Oh my fuck, Vince is in the kitchen after whole 4 years"

Klaus laughed when Vincente added: "4 years, 5 months, 6 days, 40 minutes and 52 seconds"

Ezra said chuckling: "C'mon brother that was an accident"

Vincente hummed quietly and inquired: "When is Nyx getting her back, her clothes will be here anytime soon"

Ezra shrugged saying: "he knows, he will be back soon"

Vincente nodded and was about to put the pasta in hot boiling water but stopped doing what he was doing when he heard the name he wanted to remove from his memories: "Boss, Mr. Venturo Ruiz is here to see Miss Diaz"

Klaus's jaw tightened and his hands turned into fists. Vincente stepped back from the pot and the pack of pasta fell from his hand on the handle of the pot. Vincente tried to hold the pot but the water fell on his hand making him flinched but he didn't pull his hand away from the pot.

Klaus growled glaring at him: "Vince, move your hand"

Venturi who walked inside the house heard the loud voice of his second son and rushed to the kitchen side. He saw Ezra staring at his elder brother with wide eyes knowing fully well that going close to him or touching him would only make him have a panic attack so he didn't approach him.

Venturo walked into the kitchen in his usual fully black suit and said in a low authoritative tone making Klaus and Ezra pull away: "Move"

Vincente growled when he saw Venturo reaching towards him: "Leave my house"
