In the last chapters, your comments made me upload this chapter today. I was planning to update it tomorrow. I was outside with my mum and cousins for diwali shopping but I kept working on my story the whole shopping trip just to gave you a update.

Chapter Name: shy Little Thing

Third-person pov:

Adaliah is now standing in front of one of the biggest malls in the country with Nyx beside her. Adaliah is super excited to visit a new place, especially this big and amazing-looking place. And well, Our poor Nyx on the other hand is fully aware that this trip with her is going to hell an annoying one. He is out to meet a few of his friends but now he is a babysitter.

After a lot of scolding from his brothers and Adaliah's cute and innocent puppy eyes which work like hell on all the Diaz brothers. She definitely adopted this talent from none other than Vito.

Flashback:

As soon as the words "fuck no" left Nyx's mouth, Adaliah's bottom lip trembled and she flopped herself on the couch. She turned her face towards Ezra and snuggled into the side. Everyone watched her move carefully until they heard little sniffles coming from her followed by heart-wrenching sobs.

Klaus scolded Nyx: "For God's sake, Nyx, what would happen if you took her with you? She is our baby sister"

Nyx said pointing towards her: "She is just faking it"

Adaliah let out a loud sob at what he said and Ezra cooed pulling her in his lap and hugging her close: "shh, it's alright. He is an idiot. I will get you outside yes, my beautiful chipmunk. Please don't cry anymore mhm"

Nyx grumbled: "C'mon she isn't actually crying. She is faking it"

Ezra glared at him: "Shut up Nyx, she is crying because of you and you calling it fake. I can feel her tears drenching my shirt, My chipmunk"

Nyx is 1000 percent sure that she isn't crying but he doesn't know what to do now as she is using the most powerful weapon on his innocent brothers. Ezra sniffled her hair which smelled like roses and a mix of chocolate saying: "c'mon, I'm getting somewhere nice"

She sniffled murmuring: "I only go with Nyx"

Nyx rubbed his temple as his brother started glaring at him and he huffed: "Fine, get up and"

He didn't even complete his sentence as Adaliah jumped off Ezra's lap almost falling in the process and wiped her fake tears saying: "Let's go"

Nyx stared at her dumbfounded as Ezra cleared his throat knowing fully well now that Adaliah was just fake crying. Vito exclaimed at Nyx's face: "What? She is excited. We forget our pain and sadness when we get excited. That's what happened with her"

Nyx glared at his brothers: "Yeah sure, overly excited I see"

Adaliah blinked up at him standing in front of me: "I protect you"

Nyx groaned running a hand down his face: "Fuck me"

Flashback ended:

Adaliah wiggled her toes as Nyx remembered she was still barefoot so he asked bending down to her level: "Can I?"

Adaliah looked up at him and slowly but cautiously nodded her head as her black wavy hair bounced around. Nyx picked her up in his arms carefully and held her in a comfortable position saying: "Let me know if you like anything here"
