Chapter Fifty-Five

On the other hand, Adaliah's car stopped in front of the restaurant they decided to meet as Alex sent a quick text to Ezra that they reached safely at the restaurant. Alex hopped off the car as Orea followed his suit and opened the door for Adaliah.

Adaliah smirked at him and unbuckled her seatbelt jumping off the car. Orea rolled his eyes at her and grabbed her cap from the dashboard and placed it over her head saying: "Sun is too bright"

She chuckled lightly: "You and Nyxy are so same"

Orea furrowed his eyebrows but didn't question her much. Alex walked beside her: "Let's get in"

They walked inside the restaurant and she ordered at the reception: "Booking for Adaliah Diaz"

Adaliah waited not so patiently for her to tell her the way as she smiled politely: "Yes, Miss Diaz"

She called a server and they guided her to the VIP room as Orea pulled the chair for her and helped her to get on. She said looking at Orea and Alex: "Take a seat"

Alex said shaking his head as Orea sat down on the seat next to her: "We are not"

Alex and Orea looked at each other as an awkward silence filled the room while Adaliah watched them with soft eyes until the gold watch around her wrist pinged with the alarm breaking the awkward silence.

Orea said coldly: "Sit your ass Alex. We are just giving her company"

Adaliah rolled her eyes and ordering in a stern tone: "Sit down Al"

Alex couldn't say no to her and found himself sitting on the chair beside her keeping a small distance. When Adaliah was satisfied that no one was standing over his head as she glanced at her watch.

She took a few seconds to read the time and she realised that it's already been 7 minutes. She extended her hand to Alex who held out her bag to her as she grabbed her phone from the bag and called Klaus.

Klaus didn't pick up her call as she called him for the whole 10 times but no response. She called on his office and his assistant picked the call: "This is Jemny speaking, Mr Klaus Diaz assistant"

Adaliah rolled her eyes asking: "Where is Klaus?"

Jenny said in a soft tone: "Miss Diaz. Mr Diaz didn't come to office. He had a day off today"

Adaliah furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she remembered correctly that Kalus said he was going to his office. Adaliah said in her polite tone: "Thank you Jenny. If Kl came to office, tell him to call me"

Jenny said smiling: "Okay Miss Diaz. Have a nice day"

Adaliah hummed quietly: "you too"

She hanged up the call and said getting off the chair: "Al, let's go to Vince's office"

Alex said nodding his head and fisting out his phone from his pocket and scrolling through it: "Let me just inform, Sir Vincente"

Adaliah ordered shaking his head in no: "No, Let's shock him"

Orea said shaking his head: "It's called surprise"

Adaliah said blankly walking ahead of then towards their door: "Naah, he gonna get shock"

Alex smiled at how adorable Adaliah is and opened the door for her. They walked to the reception and Alex informed the receptionist about them coming back in some time and left the place.

They walked to their car and settled down inside the car and they drove to Vincente's office. Adaliah was fuming in anger because she hates waiting.

The car stopped in front of a huge building as Orea held the door open for Adaliah. Adaliah jumped off the car and recalled the floor number where Vincente's office is. She walked inside the building with Orea following her as Alex went to park the car.
