Chapter Name: A Queen is always a Queen.

Third-person pov:

(This scene is before the party from Morning)

The next day, Adaliah woke up from the two hours of sleep that she got after being awake all night. Ezra is a heavy sleeper so he doesn't know if she is asleep or not. She pretends to be asleep so he can sleep peacefully without worrying about her.

Adaliah yawned and rubbed her eyes as a pout formed on her lips when she realized the space next to her was empty. The thought of losing Ezra and others felt so heavy on her heart as she looked around the room frantically but she didn't find Ezra in the room. She tried to hear the sound of a running shower but nothing.

Adaliah jumped off the bed twisting her ankle in the process but it doesn't matter right now. She has to find out about Ezra before she loses him just like her mother.

Flashback:

Adaliah walking around in the big hallway hiding from all the people when she stopped in front of a large door. She felt a pull towards the room, eye didn't know why she felt like going inside that room and saw what was inside. And she did. She slowly pushed the heavy door and her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room. She slowly walked inside and closed the door looking around for anyone.

She slowly walked towards the large king-size bed along with some weird things around the room. She doesn't understand that she entered a sex dungeon. She scrunched up her nose as the strong smell of sex and alcohol filled the room.

Her heart was beating wildly in her chest as she walked towards the door and realized that someone was sleeping on the bed. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with her hand as she saw a glimpse of that orange dress her mother was wearing before she left the room to bring her food.

Adaliah's heart stopped for a moment as she called in a soft tone: Mummy?"

She couldn't breathe as she took a few shaky steps toward the bed and slowly peeked at her mother's naked body barely covered with her orange dress. Adaliah covered her mouth and got on the bed with a lot of difficulty and then leaned down to her mother's chest to hear her heartbeat.

Her mother taught her these tiny things, like checking the heartbeat and bandaging her small wounds. Adaliah couldn't stop her tears as she realized that her mother was no more. Adaliah pulled the orange ripped dress from the edge and covered her body with the ripped piece of dress.

She heard the sound of the washroom door opening and her eyes widened. She jumped off the bed and slid herself under the bed. She covered her mouth with her hand as she heard a dark voice growl at someone: "No, We have to do this shit in an hour and leave this place"

Adaliah saw a man sitting on a chair and wearing his socks and shoes. She is trying to keep herself from crying out loud as she sees a mark on his left ankle, a birthmark.

Her vision was blurry so she didn't get a clear view but she was sure it was a sun with little half-moons around both corners. She didn't know what this sign meant but it was there. He wore his shoes and walked out of the room speaking on the call.

Adaliah whispered coming back to her mother's side and kissing her forehead: "I find him and hurt him more bad than he hurt you, mummy"

Flashback ended:

Adaliah rushed to the closet and tried to slide the door but it didn't budge so she yelled out: "Ezra?"

Ezra is about to put on a shirt when he hears her panicked voice and immediately opens the closet door. Before he could react or ask Adaliah anything, she threw her arms around him and hugged his legs.
