All the students in the classroom look at Adaliah with wide eyes because the blonde-haired boy (Renzi) is none other than the son of the Minister. No one messed with him because of his father's connections.
Renzi turned to look at Adaliah who still didn't open her eyes and kept her head on the desk with her arms crossed. The black-haired boy (Armaan) also peeked at Adaliah with soft eyes as tears kept rolling down his cheeks.
Adaliah rolled her eyes because she could feel the stares of everyone and it was annoying her. Renzi said with a small smile: "Oh you aren't aware of my dad"
Adaliah opened her eyes and sat up straight stretching her arms then looked at him. She tilted her head and asked in the fakest sweet tone: "Oh really, My bad"
Renzi growled darkly: "My father is the trusty of this school, he gave donations to this school every year"
Adaliah said shrugging: "doesn't matter. My brothers can make your father on his knees"
Renzi held his hand up to slap her but Adaliah grabbed his hand and growled darkly glaring at him: "I can break this hand of yours but My Ezy wants me not to do anything bad on the first day"
Renzi glared more darkly: "Do you even know who you are talking to?"
Adaliah frowned with a pout: "A mistake"
Renzi was about to say something but the door opened and a man walked into the classroom. Adaliah pushed his hand away and sat up straight like nothing happened.
Armaan looked at her with wide eyes and Adaliah grabbed a wipe from the pack of wipes she had in her bag, (Ezra packed her bag) she slid the wipes to Armaan who watched the small hand holding a wipe while he looked between his hands and her passive face.
Armaan whispered shakily: "Thank you"
Adaliah rolled her eyes once again and grumbled: "take it and throw it if you don't want"
Armaan sighed sadly and grabbed the wipe from her hand. She watched him from the corner of her eyes as Armaan wiped his face clean removing his glasses. Adaliah watched him from the corner of her eyes as she found his ocean-deep blue eyes so memorising.
She looked away when he turned towards her and the teacher smiled as she clapped her hands together: "So we have three new kids with us who joined us today. So I'm Eliza your teacher and please introduce yourself"
Adaliah watched a girl from the first row, fourth desk stand up, she was beautiful with her red hair and freckles decorating her nose and cheeks. She said smiling politely while Adaliah noticed her shaky hands: "Hello, My name is Rebecca"
Rebecca smiled at Eliza who gave her an encouraging nod and Rebecca spoke: "I like playing basketball with my brother"
Renzi said from behind: "basketball isn't for girls"
Rebecca looked down as Eliza said in a low tone: "Renzi"
Renzi shrugged carelessly as the boy next to Rebecca got up and said simply: "My name is Lucas and I like painting"
Some students made weird noises which made Adaliah angry but she rolled her eyes and kept her eyes glued to Armaan's hands still holding the wipe in his fist. Armaan noticed Eliza's eyes on Adaliah who was too lost in watching Armaan's small fingers.
Armaan gently leaned towards making her look up at him as their eyes met and he whispered: "it's your turn"
Adaliah's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as she realised what he meant. She got up from her seat confidently and said in her usual cold tone, which she adapted from her brother Vincente and Nyx Diaz: "Adaliah Diaz"
