Chapter Fifty-Eight

Adaliah was sitting in the car with Ranvijay next to her who was busy typing away on his phone. Adaliah wanted to cry, scream, let her tears and pain of her heart out because the men she trusted with her life betrayed her.

She trusted those monsters instead of her mother's words, she deserved this pain and punishment of trusting monsters like them.

She heard her mother's words ringing inside her head like an alarm: “I warned you baby, they don't deserve your love. All men are same, they will just use you and when they get what they want from you, they will throw you out like a trash”

Adaliah clenched her jaw hard and those words rang inside her: “Never let a man use you, use their male ego to bring them down. Show them who you are, baby. I didn't raise a quitter, I raised a lioness, a queen so show them what a queen can do. Bring them on their knees and beg for mercy”

Adaliah took a deep breath as Ranvijay said coldly: “You must know who I am?”

Adaliah didn't spare him any glance as he continued: “Listen Adaliah, you will have to change your name. You are a daughter of a prostitute so I can't let you out in front of the world and tell them about you. You will have to stay hidden for a while until I fix your identity and”

Adaliah said in a cold tone: “If you are ashamed about my mommy then why did you bring me with you?”

Ranvijay said, shaking his head: “Because you are my blood and don't think about things that don't need your concern. You wouldn't understand it because you are just a kid”

Adaliah chuckled darkly: “Sure Ranvijay, I will make sure you will beg for mercy for insulting my mommy like this”

Ranvijay said in a low tone: “Adaliah from now on your name is Rajnandni”

Adaliah shrugged and looked out of the window as the car entered a huge palace. Ranvijay nodded at the driver who nodded back and stopped the car in front of the palace. Adaliah opened the door and jumped out of the car with Ranvijay doing the same.

Ranvijay said blankly walking ahead of her: “Rajnandi follow me”

Adaliah stared at his back until she realised it's her new name and followed him with a cold expression looking around the huge palace. Adaliah saw Ranvijay talking to someone at the entrance and she walked beside him.

Ranvijay introduced her: “Rajnandi, these are your brothers”

Adaliah looked up at the seven men standing in front of her staring at her until a man who looks exactly the copy of Ranvijay ordered in a dark cold tone: “You aren't going wear things like them”

Ranvijay nodded agreeing with him until the youngest looking one of them shrugged: “it's not even this bad. She is just a kid”

Another one spoke: “Even if she get a big girl, I don't find anything wrong in her outfit”

Adaliah said walking inside: “Where is my room?”

The youngest one grinned happily: “Hi I'm Atharv”

Adaliah shrugged walking inside: “Adaliah”

Atharv asked with furrowed eyebrows: “Ada what? But dad said your name is Rajnandi”

Adaliah looked at Ranvijay who glared at her saying: “She had a bad habit of lying”

Atharv frowned but nodded eventually as Adaliah walked to the stairs: “upstairs?”

Atharv nodded and rushed behind her saying: “yeah, your room is just beside me”

Adaliah zoned out as he talked about stuff, his brothers, yes his brothers. Adaliah gritted her teeth angrily: “They are your brothers not mine. I don't have a family”
