Adaliah knows and trusts her brothers that they would never hurt Ezra, they took care of him when the whole world was against them. They were here before her and took care of him but the way Ezra told those words to her made her heart clench painfully.

This is the first Adaliah sees a man crying, crying for help because he is scared. That's what she wanted to see from men, to see them cry and bed for mercy, for help.

That day when that man cried and begged for her mercy she felt powerful and more importantly, she felt a warm feeling of satisfaction watching him cry for help.

But today watching Ezra feeling scared, and crying for help doesn't give her satisfaction. It made her small heart clench painfully. She feels so hurt hearing his broken sobs.

She promised herself, that she would make every man who crossed paths with her, the day she understood how men hurt women and made them beg and cry for help.

The day she met Ezra when he bumped into her before she bumped into that man who dragged her to sell her. She promised herself to hurt Ezra because he bought her, rather than killing those bastards who tried doing this illegal shit.

She never wanted to get close to Ezra but every day Ezra made her believe that he was innocent, he always was and he will always be innocent.

The same day she heard from Vincente that Ezra bought her from that place because the leader of that place was much stronger and they couldn't just go against them and start a war at this time.

She understood Ezra's point for buying her but she still wanna keep a distance from this Golden retriever energy man who made her fall harder than she ever thought she would for anyone.

Diaz's siblings were shocked when Ezra wanted them all out of that room. They understand that Ezra is scared or maybe still kind of stuck in his head. But would it be okay for them to leave a small toddler with Ezra without any doctor or anyone?

Ezra wasn't looking at them as his head was buried in the crook of Adaliah who was rubbing his side in soft circles. Adaliah knew they wouldn't hurt him. They were with him when she wasn't. Adaliah spoke looking at his siblings: "Leave"

She added in a soft pleading tone when she felt their dark gazes on them: "Please"

Vincente turned towards Adagio who watched his heart rate and how calm he was looking right now. He spoke in a low tone: "I think, we should give them privacy"

Adaliah looked at Vincente who felt her gaze and looked at her so she gave her small nod saying silently: "I will take care of Ezy"

Vincente gave her a stiff nod and looked at the door saying: "Let's go out"

Luciano dragged his brother outside the room glaring at him with others following behind them. Vincente stopped at the door watched the duo with soft eyes and walked out of the room with a soft smile on his lips.

Adaliah gently cupped Ezra's face saying: "Ezy, let's sit on the bed"

Ezra blinked at her and slowly nodded his head then picked her in his arms carefully and sat down on the bed still holding her in his lap. Adaliah spoke in a low gentle tone she rarely uses: "It's alright, Ezy. I'm fine. You okay?"

Ezra sniffled as Adaliah scrunched up her nose grabbing the tissues from the small nightstand near the bed: "I wouldn't let you go, chipmunk"

Adaliah nodded and passed the tissues to him making him look at her and then back at the tissues in her hand. He slowly grabbed the tissues and wiped his nose and face saying: "I'm sorry"
