As per the article published in the newspaper dated 10th January, approximately two weeks before the murder, Nishant mentioned Garv has always been a troublemaker in this industry. The industry should be known for celebrating music and art, not controversies.

I believe nepotism isn’t wrong. The kids born into an already well-established family shouldn't be targeted only because they are star kids or have any connections. Even my daughter Anisha faces a backlash on social media. She got a chance to be in the modelling industry and all credits go to her passion. If I wanted her to be a part of nepotism, I could have used her voice for my songs but instead, I permitted her to pursue a career in modeling as she was interested in the field.
