And then, the moment froze.I revealed the text on my phone screen to them.They were equally shocked. But suddenly the phone rang.

"Pick up, Avantika," Rohan urged.
I answered the call and heard him, "Hello Lady Boss."

How did he know the name Ladyboss? My heart pounded against my ribcage. My throat turned dry with fear. The goosebumps erupted on my skin but I shouldn't reveal any sight to him.
"Hi." I managed to release a breath as I glanced at my colleagues staring at me, their eyes questioning the person behind the call. Or behind the plan that had just unraveled.

I turned to locate it.

"As you say, Avantika." He paused. "Delete the data extracted from the pendrive and place it back in the cupboard."
I glanced at Rohan and Imran over my shoulder waiting for revelation of the half-secret talks between me and the caller.
"Do it. Don't look at them."
My eyes swiftly diverted to the camera. I breathed, staring at that recording device revealing to him my every action including my breath.
"Answer my question. Why are you so bothered to make me delete the data from the laptop? You're involved in Anisha's Dad's murder case. Why are you saving her? You should be pleased if she gets exposed in front of the media that she is in a relationship with a married officer who is 18 years older than her. And he has kids too."I demanded.
