Adrain's pov:-

"Why the fuck are you smiling like a creep", My head snapped up at Bennett's voice. His lips twisted into a sneer of disgust.

Fucker

I was chatting with Iris, maybe sexting a bit. Anyway, she left my place this morning and went back home. We can't stay in the penthouse forever, which honestly bothers me more than I expected. But her text afterward made me smile. I guess something's messing with my head.

"I don't recall signing up to give you life updates", I responded dryly, "But for the record my smile is stunning, unlike yours".

"Whatever helps you sleep at night", He grimaced slightly before taking a seat across from me.

I lifted a eyebrow.

"But dude, you've been acting strange lately. Is there something I should know? He inquired with curiousity in his voice.

"I'll say it again: I'm not obligated to give you updates on my life", I snapped.

"Stop acting like an asshole. We are friends dude; aren't we?" He said with a playful grin.

"Ugh, seriously", I sighed.

I shared most of what's been going on with Iris and me, minus the juicy bits that need to stay secret.
I'm not going to tell him my sex history.
Not at all!

"Hmm, Iris must be rubbing off on you! You're not the same grumpy guy I used to know. You have become such a pookie!" Bennett said in a amused tone.

"Fuck you, Motherfucker".

"But honestly, I'm really happy for you king", He said with a warm smile.

"Me too" I smiled back.

Never did I imagine such happiness existed within me. Now, I have a purpose that ignites my soul, and I'll hold onto it fiercely, forever and always.

Iris's pov:-

I plopped down on the couch to watch a movie, but the flickering screen barely held my attention. My thumbs were flying across my phone, and every message from Adrain sent a wave of butterflies through my stomach. I couldn't help but smile like a lovestruck fool!

"A smile like that on your face........ reminds me of when I used to get butterflies in my stomach texting with your dad back in the day. Is there something or someone I should know about?" Mom asks with a smile, a hint of nostalgia in her voice.

"Hold on a sec,Mom. You're telling me Dad actually texts you everyday? And they give you butterflies? That's...... unexpected!" I said with a hint of amusement and disbelief.

"Ofcourse, your father was and still is a total charmer. Now back to your phone. What's got you grinning like that?" Mom says with a knowing wink.

"Haha, no way, Mom! Don't worry, it's nothing romantic. Just something funny that happened today", I said with a weak smile.

I didn't enjoy deceiving Mom, but I couldn't reveal the truth either. Besides, Dad wasn't satisfied with my explanation for suddenly being out of the country. I knew he wouldn't be, but that was preferable to him discovering I'm dating his biggest enemy's son.

Fuck that must be a mess!

A notification buzzed on my phone, interrupting my train of thoughts. It was a message from Adrain, short and unexpected: 'pack your bags, we're going to Greece'.

Fucking hell

Greece like really?

Great, another disappearance to explain! Dad's barely forgiven the last one, and now a trip to Greece with Adrain lands in my lap.

God, What should I do?

"Princess, Is everything alright?" Mom asked in a concerning tone.

"Everything's good, Mom! Actually, a great opportunity for work just popped up, and it involves trip to Greece", I responded.

Deep Breaths in, worries out!

I can deal with Dad later. Right now, all I need to think about is Greece and Adrain-- because guess what?

This is our first Date!
