Adrain's grip on my arm tightened as we wandered through the Greek streets. The children's joyous laughter, the golden hues of the setting sun, and the enticing smells of flower and food filled the air. Everything was perfect.
If someone had told me six months ago that Adrain and I would be roaming the streets of Greece again, I would have laughed in their face.
Yet here we are, after all the hardships, heartbreaks, and challenges. Our relationship has only grown stronger. We fought for each other, and we loved each other despite our differences. I'm so grateful we never gave up on each other. Our love has only deepened with time.
Now, I can't imagine my life without him. He's the very breath I need to stay alive, the air that fills my soul.

Adrain pointed to a charming cafe and said, "Lioness would like to go there". As I looked over at the cafe, a fond smile spread across my face. It was the same place we'd visited during our time in Greece, and the sweet memories came flooding back, making my smile even brighter.
"Ofcourse, Let's go", I replied with a wide smile, which made Adrain grin as well.
We headed to the cafe and ordered the same pastries and Greek coffee that had been so delicious last time.
As I nibbled on the pastry, I couldn't resist asking Adrian, "So, you still haven't told me why we're here again?"
His gaze locked with mine, a hint of amusement and a glint of something else flickering in his eyes.

"I told you it's a Surprise- you'll find out soon enough, just be patient", Adrain said, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he winked at me.
"Is this surprise really so important that we had to abandon all our work, especially when we were so busy?" I asked in a calm, steady voice.
We've both been extremely busy lately. Adrain's hard has propelled the Russo Group to the top, earning them the coveted number one company tag. This has naturally increased his workload significantly. Meanwhile I've embarked on a new chapter in my career as an architect. It's been a dream come true for me, and I'm filled with happiness and excitement about building houses.
Dad admitted his mistake and apologized, asking me to return to the company. But I've lost all trust in him and need more time to think about it.
"Lioness, it's important. Absolutely Important", Adrain said, his voice filled with determination.
I guess it is. After we finished our delicious meal, Adrain suggested going for a walk on the nearby beach.
We strolled along the beach, hand in hand, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow around us. The gentle breeze played with our hair, while I reminisced about my childhood and the day I lost my first tooth.
Adrain listened intently, as he always does, like I was the sweetest music to his ears and he couldn't get enough of me.

I paused when I no longer felt Adrain's hand on mine. Turning around, my breath was stolen as I gazed upon him. My heart pounded so loudly, it felt like it would burst from my chest.
Adrian was kneeling before me, a small velvet box held outstretched in his hand. Tears welled up in my eyes.
"Iris", He whispered, his voice filled with tenderness, "I never believed in love until you came into my life. I thought it was a foolish, weak emotion. But then you arrived, painting my black and white world with vibrant colors. You breathed life to my lifeless heart, showing me that love is the greatest force in the universe. You are the color, the life, the entire world to me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you".
He took my hand, his voice slightly trembling and asked, "Iris, will you marry me?"
Tears of joy streamed down my cheeks as my heart overflowed with happiness and love.
"Yes, Adrain, Yes I will", I whispered, a soft smile playing on my lips.
Adrain's smile widened as he opened the velvet box, revealing a breathtaking diamond ring with gentle fingers, he slid it into my finger.
Our eyes met and I whispered, "I love you, Adrian".
"I love you too, Lioness".
Then he pressed his lips to mine, a tender kiss that spoke of his deep love and the promise of our beginnings together.
