Adrain's pov:-

Exploring Greece with Iris turned out to be the ultimate therapy session for both of us. Wandering through ancient ruins, soaking up the sun on pristine beaches, and indulging in delicious local cuisine- it was a sensory overload in the best way possible.

This Trip.
Her.
Everything was so perfect. I wish I could freeze the time.

Fuck!
Why on Earth am I thinking illogically?

"Adrain", Iris's voice cut through my thoughts.

"Yes, baby", I murmured.

God, she looks absolutely gorgeous in her pink floral dress, her hair cascading in soft waves. I can't take my eyes off her.

"Look, there's a cute cafe over there. Shall we go?" Iris said, pointing it out.

"Okay, Let's go", I replied with a smile.

The cafe spills onto a cobbled lane, its whitewashed facade draped in Bougainville wicker chairs with blue cushions beckon under striped canopies, shielding from the Greek sun. Inside, cycladic charm abounds with local art on whitewashed walls, a wooden counter displaying tempting pastries and the scent of Greek coffee and baklava in the air.

We opted for pastries and Greek coffee.

"Are you enjoying Greece?" I asked Iris, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Alot", she said between bites of her pastry.

The pastry wasn't a mere snack, it was a full-on attack. Tiny bites, cream on her lips- a delicious frenzy.

Fuck!
My cock throbbed hard almost punching a hole through my pants.
Her lips would look fucking Good sucking my cock.

Her gaze locked with mine, a fleeting question mark furrowing her brow for a moment before curiousity sparked in her eyes.

"What?" Her voice held a playful lilt and a mischievous glint danced in her eyes.

I arched an eyebrow a playful smile tugging at the corner of my lips.

"Why aren't you eating?" She asked curiously.

"Because I want to eat you. Will you be my snack, baby?" I threw in a wink with my question.

"Adrain", Iris muttered, a hot blush rising on her cheeks.

"What? It's not my fault that you're delicious as fuck and I have an urge to eat you up like a madman", The words left my lips laced with a smirk.

"God, you're just-----", Iris murmured, the pink flush on her cheeks deepening to a fiery red.

"I'm just what? Finish the sentence Lioness. I'm just?" I asked in a amused tone.

Our conversation was abruptly interrupted by the untimely ringing of a phone, which was quite frustrating.

I glanced at the caller ID and discovered it was Bennett, likely calling to provide updates on the work I had assigned to him.

"Baby, I'm sorry, but this looks important. I need to take this call".

Iris offered a reassuring smile and a gentle nod, "sure".

Spotting an empty table in the corner, I settled in and answered the ringing phone.

I didn't waste any time and asked Bennett, "Any updates".

"Our plan worked out, dude; we got him", Bennett said in a assuring tone.

"Good", I replied.

Some fucker from our company was attempting to steal something crucial from me. We needed to stop him before he succeeded, so I devised a plan that worked wonders.

He was in hiding, so I devised a plan to lure him out. I pretended to give up and want on a trip, hoping he would emerge, allowing us to apprehend him.

Although, I wanted to go on a trip with Iris, this presented a great opportunity, so it worked out well.

He attempted to seize something important and a secret that I had been hiding for so long- nobody else knew about it, not even Bennett, who only knows what I've chosen to reveal to him, not the entire truth.

My gaze shifted to Iris, who was selfies and smiling. She should know the secret; she deserves to know because she shares her life with me openly and I should do the same.

"When are you coming back", Bennett inquired.

"Tomorrow. Bennett, keep him safe until I return; he needs to answer my questions", I said in a dark tone.

"Okay, Got it", Bennett replied before hanging up.

This whole thing is bigger than just the guy they hired. I gotta find the person who's really in charge, the one calling the shots. That's how I shut down this whole mess.

I rejoined Iris, our conversation flowing like a soothing balm. Her presence calmed the Storm raging within me. Yet, a pang of sadness settled in my heart as I remembered our trip ends tomorrow.

The secret gnawed at me, a heavy burden I longed to share with Iris . But seeing her so carefree, enjoying this time together, felt wrong. Sweet conservation filled the space for now, a bittersweet comfort. Today might not be the day, but the truth wouldn't stay buried forever. She deserved to know.
