A Better World With You

Chapter 4

Since Kuya Harvey won't be able to pass the documents to our moderator, I was tasked to go to the Student Government room to get the documents from the table. He said it was already stacked organizely so it wouldn't be a hassle to pass it to the moderator. I got the keys with me and used it to unlock the door. Once I am in, the documents are already on sight waiting to be carried. I picked them up and hugged them with my right hand as I used the other hand to lock the door all over again.

It was an easy task and all I have to do is to reach the 5th floor to send this to the faculty room. Good thing there is an elevator so I don't need to rush myself taking up the stairs. And it is also a good thing that less people are only using the elevator as of the moment because too much shortens my breathing.

As I reached the 5th floor, I turned left to find the faculty room. I was about to knock on the door but Justine caught my attention. He was sitting outside, holding a pen and writes something on his paper. Perhaps, he's writing his incident report because I've already seen others doing that and they said they were writing one.

Hindi ko na rin binalak na batiin siya dahil sa napag-usapan na rin namin kahapon kaya itinuloy ko na lang ang pagkatok sa pintuan. Subalit, ang ikinamali ko lang ay ang hindi kong pagtingin sa pintuan habang kumakatok. Bukas na pala ang pintuan at nasa harapan ko na rin ang aming moderator.

"Ms. Mercedes, masyado ka atang naaliw katititig kay Sir Relevo. Hindi mo na namalayan na bukas na ang pinto at nagawa mo pang kumatok sa ere." Natatawang sabi ng moderator namin at naramdaman ko ang pamumula ng aking tenga sa kahihiyan. Ngangayon ko lang kasi siyang nakita dito na nagsusulat ng incident report. Siguro late ito ngayon kasi sumusunod naman siya sa dress code at may suot na ID.

"Sorry po." Sabi ko at napatungo na lang dahil nahihiya na akong harapin si sir.

"It's fine. I didn't mean to embarrass you. Anyways, ito na ba 'yung mga documents na hinihingi ko from Harvey?" Tanong ni sir sa akin at tumango naman ako habang inaabot ito kay sir.

"Yes, it was arranged well by Kuya Harvey so you wouldn't have a hard time analyzing the papers." I said and he nodded as he accepted the papers from me.

"Good! I'll be updating you as soon as possible. Thank you for this." Sabi pa ni sir at pagkatapos naming mag-usap ay pumasok na ito sa faculty room para bumalik sa kaniyang gawain.

I don't really have plans to take a peak of what he is doing but somehow, I am kind of curious of what reaction he is actually expressing so I took a glimpse at mas lalo lamang akong napikon sa nakita ko. Kagat labi siyang ngumingisi habang nagsusulat ng incident report. Napairap na lang ako at napailing habang papalayo.

As I went back to the 3rd floor, I accidentally bumped into someone once again. Ano ba, George? Lalabas ka na nga lang ng elevator nakakabangga ka pa. Agad akong tumingin ako sa babaeng nakabangga ko at medyo nabuhayan ang aking sistema nang makilala ko.

"Could you watch it?" Says the girl whom I met yesterday at the Engineering hallway. Right now, she's wearing a red short sleeved tee and a boyfriend jeans. Her hair is up with a cute red head band and wears a red circular glasses. Her style is unique and It suits her. She looks innocent but her attitude shows otherwise. Mas mataray pa sa'kin e.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bumped into—" I was cut off suddenly by someone who is now placing his arm over my shoulder.

"Hi Jane! How are you?" And he waved a little to this mysterious girl that I bumped into. My eyebrows furrowed as I am quite confused to what is happening. However, from an unfriendly facade, the girl softened when he saw Chris. I am really bewildered with this woman's personality.
