cordelia peered over the railing where uma had landed. "oh, no." she mumbled.

the water began to glow and bubble while uma was underneath its surface. the water then came together, forming a huge wave that exploded above them. the cold water rainied down onto the boat and all of the people on it. carlos grabbed cordelia and tried his best to shield her from the water that was raining down on them.

"true loves kiss won't defeat this!" uma laughed evilly, emerging from the wave with large tentacles similar to her mother's, the necklace that hung around her neck glowing. "the world will know my name!" she yelled before whipping one of her tentacles at the boat.

uma did it again, this time she successfully managed to take a few people out. mal walked away from the railing while breathing heavily, her eyes glowing a bright green as uma cackled again.

"mal?" ben walked over to her, before a swarm of vibrant purple smoke fully covered mal. everyone watching the scene unfold stared with their jaws dropped, silently awaiting mal and uma's next moves.

mal then remerged from the vibrant smoke as a purple dragon. cordelia would be lying if she said it wasn't fully amazed at the fact mal could turn into a dragon. she flew up, off the boat and down towards the water and uma.

"did you know mal could do that?" cordelia turned to ben, who was staring at his girlfriend.

"no, i had no idea." ben chuckled. mal then blew out a blast of fire at uma, in return uma whipped one of her tentacles up at her.

"come on, mal!" uma cheered. "let's finish this once and for all!" mal roared and blew more fire towards uma.

uma whipped at her again with one of her tentacles as mal circles around her. unexpectedly, uma sent a huge wave out and into the air, sending the boat rocking roughly amongst the water.

"watch out!" ben warned as they all rocked harshly along with the boat. carlos held cordelia close to him as they got thrown from side to side of the boat. once the boat settled down, ben roared while looking over the railing at mal and uma.

he walked back towards his group of friends, pulling off his jacket and crown. he draped his jacket over cordelia's shoulders before placing his crown on carlos's head.

"wait, ben! no!" cordelia called out as he ran towards the boat railing.

"ben!"

"ben!"

carlos took the crown from his head and held it tightly in his hands, peering over the rails to see where ben had gone and if he was okay. cordelia stood next to him, searching the water for any sight of her best friend.

"mal, uma!" ben yelled as he emerged from the water, directly in the middle of the two. "stop! back down!"

uma laughed, throwing her head back. "what are you gonna do, ben? splash me?"

"that's enough! it's got to stop! this isn't the answer! the fighting has got to stop! nobody wins this way! we have to listen and respect each other. it won't be easy, but let's be brave enough to try." ben said, trying to reason with the two girls.

"uma, i know you want what is best for the isle. help me make a difference." he continued, holding his hand out towards uma. she then reached one of her tentacles towards him, before she placed something into the palm of his hand.

cordelia squinted trying to get a look at what the tiny object was. in closer observation, cordelia saw the gold of ben's ring. ben glanced at the ring before looking back up at uma, who smiled sadly before disappearing into the deep blue water.
