cordelia held hands with carlos, gathering in front of the school. cordelia knew what was about to happen and she was ecstatic. the new four vk's were coming and ben was going to propose to mal.
cordelia and carlos, stood by evie, jay and doug awaiting for mal and ben's grand entrance. "here they come." evie whispered to doug, he turned to the band giving them a signal.
the band began playing 'did i mention', the song ben had sang for mal. mal and ben walked out, their hands interlinked their free hand waving to everyone that was screaming and cheering for them.
ben and mal finished waving to everyone, making their way onto the blue and yellow platform. mal was about to walk off, but the fairy godmother stopped her. "oh, stay."
"stay here?" mal asked, pointing to the podium with a confused expression. cordelia couldn't contain her excitement, it was happening!
"yes." fairy godmother smiled, as the band stopped playing. "bippity boppity." she began, her voice echoing throughout the crowd of people. "one, two, one, two, can everybody hear me?" she asked into the bright gold microphone. the exact microphone ben had used when confessing his love to mal.
the crowd of people jumped up and down with joy, waving their auradon flags everywhere. "yes." jane sighed with a small chuckle, as she stood next to cordelia and carlos. cordelia turned to jane, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, the poor girl was only slightly embarrassed by her mother's actions.
"thank you, fairy godmother." ben said into the microphone. "what's up, auradon?!" ben's question brought much more excitement from everyone. "thank you, thank you so much for coming out to welcome our new arrivals, they'll be here soon." and once again, everyone cheered.
"not like we had a choice." queen leah whispered to audrey.
"it worked out pretty well for the first four." ben continued, ignoring their previous comment.
"yeah, especially for you." chad shouted, but audrey hushed him with a click of her fingers.
"really funny." audrey spoke, rolling her eyes at him.
"mal," ben started, holding onto her hand. "this is the exact spot we first met not so long ago." carlos glanced over at cordelia. he could imagine when it was his time to propose to cordelia, he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. "i feel like i've known you my whole life. but did i mention that i'm in love with you?" ben said in a sing songy tone into the microphone.
the whole of auradon awed, as doug brought out a guitar and began to play a song. mal raised her hands, placing them on her face slightly embarrassed.
"i met this girl that rocked my world," ben continued to sign slowly. "like it's never been rocked and now i'm living just for her, and i won't ever stop." ben sang slowly, adam, belle, cordelia, carlos, jay, jane and fairy godmother walked over to where evie and doug were.
"i never thought it can happen to a guy like me, but now look at what you've done." ben and mal walked around in a circle, handing the microphone to carlos who handed it to cordelia to turn off.
"you got me down on my knee." mal's face changed to shock when ben got down onto one knee. "mal, its you and me. it's you and me forever." mal gasped, watching as ben opened a ring box revealing a . "will you marry me? will you be my queen?"
"no!" audrey screamed out, almost ruining the moment.
"yes!" mal nodded, taking no notice of audrey. the whole crowd began to cheer, carlos hugged cordelia celebrating the adorable moment between their two best friends. cordelia watched as audrey fainted, her eyes rolling to the back of her head, chad and queen leah catching her.
