carlos and cordelia held hands as they walked, the blonde resting her head on his shoulder. once they all managed to find their way to evie's house, the door swung open and mal came running out and to ben.
"ben!" she cheered, jumping into his arms as they both laughed. the other teens all hugged and fist bumped each other, so happy to see each other all safe.
"are you okay?" ben asked her, once they separated.
"yeah." mal replied with a toothy smile. "i'm so much better right now, are you okay?"
"yeah." ben smiled, before looking over at uma. "i always knew you'd be part of the solution."
"what is this?" mal chuckled, motioning to his chin.
"oh, yeah." the boy smiled proudly, mal reaching out and touching his chin.
mal chuckled. "i could get used to this."
"you like it?"
"i love this." mal smiled, obsessing over his new facial hair.
uma walked over, motioning to his new fangs. "what about those?"
"oh," ben said, showing his new fangs to his fiancé. mal chuckled, shaking her head. "no."
"i like 'em." ben smirked, making everyone laugh.
"okay, so." mal began, looking at ben and cordelia. "we all think that audrey could be at fairy cottage. we've got no idea where it is, did she take you there?"
"unfortunately." cordelia spoke in a low voice, carlos's arm still around her waist.
"every fairy godmother's day." ben added. "where is fairy godmother when you need her?" all eyes turned to jane, who stood there with a kind smile.
"i wish, i knew." she said, sitting down on a nearby chair.
ben stepped forward, towards doug. "doug, go with jane." ben said to him. "we need to find fairy godmother."
uma looked at the pair, before glancing back at ben. "they might need some muscle."
"hey."
gil looked down towards his hands and the fresh orange he held. "well, i'll go!" gil smiled, wrapping his arm around doug. "alright, man, let's do it! let's go jane."
jane stood up, walking back over towards her partners. "okay." the rest of the teens all turned and made their way back into evie's home.
"come on, dude."

it was dark when they all decided it was time to act on their plan, they were going to find audrey. ben, mal, uma, jay, carlos, cordelia and even dude all crept around in the darkness, the trees blowing and rustling in the wind. mal had the ember on her and in her pocket, ready to use it at any given moment.
as they got closer and closer to the cottage, cordelia walked ahead. she opened the gate carefully, flinching when it squeaked. everyone walked through the garden, ben opening the door.
they walked inside, the house was dark and everything seemed so eerie. there was no audrey in sight. jay ran upstairs, ready to find audrey and put a stop to her madness. while everyone else searched the bottom floor of the house.
loud footsteps were heard must moments later, jay appearing at the bottom of the stairs. "she's not upstairs." they all shared worried looks, where else could audrey be?!
suddenly, the sound of a door banging could be heard. they all turned to face a closet door, cordelia walked closer curiously peering into the window before sighed. "it's chad."
