they were now all back in the limo, all the vk kids with them as well. they all seemed so sweet and cordelia could not wait to met them all. there was smee's kids, squeaky and squirmy, celia dr faciliers daughter and dizzy lady tremaine's grand daughter.
"so, as soon as we get to auradon, you have to try ice cream." evie told dizzy, who sat besides her, looking at evie with idolising eyes.
"and go swimming?!" dizzy said, clapping her hands together in excitement.
"i can take you to the enchanted lake." evie smiled, her and dizzy squealing.
"i can't believe i get to live with you in your very own castle!"
"it's just a little started castle." evie shrugged, cordelia chuckled seeing how excited dizzy was she turned her attention to carlos next to her and the shy little smee twin.
carlos bent forward, picking up a chocolate for the boy. "here," the boy looked at cordelia for reassurance before back at the chocolate. "go on, trust me on this." the boy accepted it gratefully, holding it in his small hands.
the boy took a bit, his eyes growing wide he turned to carlos who just chuckled. "i know," he wrapped an arm around the boy, wrapping the other around his girlfriend. "dig in, dig in."
cordelia chuckled, resting her head on his shoulder. "i'm so proud of you." she whispered, loud enough for only him to hear.
carlos turned, looking into her big green eyes. "i love y," he felt himself pause, they hadn't said that yet. was it too soon? "i love chocolate." he smiled, trying to make it seem a little bit more convincing.
"i know you do." she chuckled, placing a kiss on his cheek. cordelia knew what he was about to say and she felt the same, although he had stopped himself. she was so happy to hear him almost say it.
"it's hades!" evie yelled, snapping cordelia away from her thoughts. everyone turned to look out the back of the car. "stop the car, he's trying to escape!"
the car stopped, everyone jumping out. hades was in fact, trying to escape. he had grabbed the barrier, stopping it from closing poking his head out. his bright blue hair sticking up and out of the barrier.
"i am a god!" he screamed. "i don't belong here!" cordelia had grabbed the twin's, holding their hands and helping them back into the car, evie shutting the doors. all four kids, crawling to the back and peering through the back window.
jay, carlos and ben all ran towards hades but he threw sparks at them, throwing them to the floor. the three girls all gasped, jumping closer together. mal's eyes began glowing a bright green, and a vibrant purple smoke surrounded her.
the teens and kids in the car, all watched as mal turned into a dragon. cordelia watched as hades' jaw dropped, his eyes growing wide. mal roared, but hades began to drain her magic.
"c'mon, mal!" jay encouraged. "blast him!" he yelled, mal let out a huge roar sending hades flying back into the barrier. the four vk kids emerged from the car, sticking their heads out.
cordelia went up to carlos, helping him up. "are you okay?" she asked, he held his side and caught his breath, nodding and leaning against cordelia a little.
mal let out another growl, coming back onto the floor and back into her human form. "are you okay?" evie asked, rushing over to mal and helping her off of the car.
"no," mal began, catching her breath and clenching her side. "he was draining all of my magic with the ember and i felt all of my powers slipping away."
"you're safe," evie hushed, comforting mal. "he's back, where he belongs." they all watched as hades scoffed and turned away, disappearing within the crowd.
