Present Day

"Darling, here let me get you a drink. Devlin gone me." Mark Collins said and he and his son walked towards the bar. Diana was looking around for her friend Nora who called earlier to say she would be attending and wanted to introduce her daughter to here. Diana through it strange that she never met Kathleen in all the time Nora had been friends. However, she knew from Nora that Kathleen was shy, yet smart and did not like being in the public eye. Unlike her brother and cousins. The Collins, Fitzgerald and the O'Brien men where all acquaintances and even friends. Spotting her she walked over to her. Then she says a beautiful woman in green and could not believe her eyes. She staired and then opened her mouth to speak. Nora stepped forward and said, "please don't bring up the envelope, we can talk in private about that later." As she hugged her and said hello.

"Diana, let me introduce you to my youngest Kathleen" Diana had tears in her eyes as she looked at the young women and held out her arms. Katie seeing that Diana needed a moment stepped forward and hugged her and said "I am sorry for running off on you that day, but I was not ready for people to know who I was set. I hope you understand." Katie stepped back and took her hands in hers.

"Oh, my dear I have so much to thank you for" Diana said emotion in her voice. Just then her husband and son walked up behind her. "Darling are you ok" Mark said reaching for his wives should. "Mom is everything ok?" Devlin asked as the same time.

She lowered her voice who that only her husband and son would hear her. "Do not mention anything about Williams" she said in a stern voice before she continued in her normal voice. Mark, Devlin this is Kathleen, Nora's daughter and as it happened this is first time we are meeting officially. She was the young lady two years ago who saved my from getting hit by a car." She said proudly with more tears coming to her eyes. Mark's eye swung to her and he pulled her into his arms. "Thank you, thank you. I can never repay you for all you did for Diana and us." Katie knew his meaning. William's Construction was sued not long after the they broke ground on their NJ Hotel for shotty work. Williams of course was playing it off and blaming the crew. How he was still in business was beyond him.

Devlin was holding his mother and looking at the red headed beauty in front of him thinking she looked so young now so two years ago when she saved his mother, she must have been just a kid. He did not know many people let a lone women or kids who would put themselves in harms way and not expect a hand out. His mother had told him and his father her only request before she took off without even giving her name. "Yes, thank you so much for what you did. If we can replay you in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask." It was a risk saying that, but given the facts about her back then and seeing that she was a Fitzgerald and did not need money he knew if she did ask anything it would not get much and well worth it. He took over a CEO of Collins Company a year ago and was a multi-millionaire and considered one of the top ten most eligible bachelors. Then again so were the Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's' and they were related to her.

"Thank you for your kinds words, but no I only did what was right." Katie said with a hint of red spreading up her cheeks and neck. Devlin through she looked even more beautiful with the blush. A through cleared behind Nora. It was the Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's' brothers. "Katie girl, so that is what happened when the driver brought you home all bruised up. We through you had got mugged and did not want to tell us. Mom assured us that you were fine and to drop the matter, but we all worried" Liam said.

"Excuse me, there is painting I wanted to look for and try to buy." Katie said to the Collins and her mother.

"Aiden, if you would" Liam said nodding in Katie's direction as she walked away.

Devlin saw it for what that was a family circling their precious girl and protecting her. He understood she was a Fitzgerald, young, beautiful and both side of her family the Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's' were multi-billionaires. Explains why even this mother and father did not recognize her or know her before today. While Nora and his parents talked, he walked off with Liam and the others to chat. "My sister continues to amaze me. I never new what happened that day. She would not talk about it. I'll have to get the full story from her tomorrow."

"How old is you sister? She saved my mother about two years ago so she must have been a teen ager at the time." He causally asked hoping his friend would not detect the interest behind the question.

"She will be 21 years old in three weeks. Mother has been planning a surprise party for her for weeks now." He said chuckling. I just hope she only invites people that know our Clover and family and some close family friends."

"Clover, Katie I am confused I thought her name was Kathleen?" Devlin said wanting to understand.

Liam laughed again, "Her name if Kathleen. She also goes by Katie. It was our father and uncle who always called her Clover and it something that us Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's have taking to calling her too. Looking back with what I know now. I understand why they called her that. I think that Uncle Conner also name the family restaurant after here. "4 Leaf Clover" the name has new meaning now."

Ryan who was silent next to them spewed his drink laughing. "Damn cousin you had to bring that realization to light while I was drinking." He spoke.

Brady, Declan and Finn all looked confused, but stayed silent when Liam glanced their way.

Katie walked over with Aiden beside her. "I found a piece I am going to bid on tonight" She beamed. Delvin could not help but admire her beauty.

"Darling I was hoping to see you again." Sarah Williams voice made him straighten his spin. He loathed this woman and her parents, but social etiquette would not allow him to show it.

"Not again" Katie said and he almost missed it.

"Brady, would you like to escort me around. I am looking for piece that will look good in our living room". Sarah said walking into the circle they had created. She was in a pink dress that looked to be two sizes two small for her.

Before anyone could speak Katie said, "One would think since the conversation was just this afternoon that you would remember that the Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's are not interested in escorting you. They are attending this even as with their family. However, yet again you insert yourself into the conversation." Those close enough all paused in their conversation and waited.

"You, how dare you. Now you are here with all the Fitzgerald's and the O'Brien's. You should go back to the corner you belong on." Sarah slued her venom.

People gasps at Sarah's worlds and insinuation.

"Don't you dare speak to my sister that way" Liam spoke or was it, Patrick. She could not tell. He cousin had also said something similar.

Sean and Mary Williams rushed over hearing that the women in green that his daughter just insinuated was a whore was the sister to the Fitzgerald's and cousin to the O'Brien's. "What the hell are you doing, Sarah. You do not speak to people that way. I taught you better then this" Sean said while his wife Mary apologized over and over again. "I am so sorry Ms. Fitzgerald; my daughter has had a little too much to drink apparently. Well will be talking her home now." Sean turned to them all while pulling his daughter back. They all walked off together in a hurry.

"The nerve of that women" Devlin said starting to rethink his former thinking to be nice at all cost. Some people did not learn if this was twice in one day Sarah pulled this stunt. He thought Katie handled that bitch perfect and turning an early even also against her. He was more intrigued.

"I think the cat is out of the bag that I am Kathleen Fitzgerald." She said flippantly. I couldn't help myself I laughed. Everyone else soon followed suit.
