Princess of the Fitzgerald and the O'Brien's

Compared to how the week started the day was pretty straight forward. Katie worked on the employee agreements for the Brand sisters, Bridgers and the Wells siblings as her personal staff and any overlapping duties with O'Brien Securities, but primarily they would be her staff. She would be the employing them and paying O'Brien Securities their salaries. She sent an email to Ryan the key point to him first thing this morning to go over with them. After lunch she had the contracts done for each and was just waiting on Ryan to see if any alterations would be needed.

She pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts from school. Her friend Mindy Doyle was one of the few people she kept in touch with online from law school. She was four years older than her and wanted to work for as she puts it "real people" in helping them and their families. She thought her friend might be willing to move here from Boston, Massachusetts.

Ring, Ring

"Hey girl! How are you doing. I say you in the news lately. Congratulations on being CEO of your family's company." Mindy said

"Thanks, it was time."

"Lessen I know you are not happy with the firm you are with in Boston and wanted to talk to you about and opportunity here at Enterprise. I wanted to give you first crack at it since it looked perfect you and inspired by you." They asked for an hour going over Katie's plans.

At the end of the conversation Mindy was on board and would be giving her notice with her firm and packing up to come to New York. Mindy was so excited to be working for a large company yet to still be able to work for people who would appreciate her. It sounded like her ideal job and the best of both would. Working a company like Fitzgerald Enterprise, but the majority of her work would be pro bono. She never would have through that befriending what she trough was a young scarred girl in classes with older adults would make such a difference in her life. Kathleen was one of the smarted and kindest people she knew. Kathleen and her had talked on several occasions about the limited legal assistance some people even in good jobs can afford or even to go to get simple advice.

Kathleen asked for he to keep her apprised of her plans and would have an apartment waiting for her and would email her the details. She explained legally it would not be part of her contract. Unlike the other tenants she could not offer her as a lawyer with the company this without opening her up to a legal headache. Mindy understood and would have advised the same as unlike the other tenants should would not be part of Kathleen's personal employment. The only legal exception she could get around was her assistant who need to close at hand all the time, but not in Kathern's personal space. Even though they both know it would maybe only happen once a month if that because of Katie's personality and caring nature. She could justify it was it was not an uncommon practice in the works of top executives and the wealthy. Mindy still tried to argue that the apartment at such a great place located where it was at the price they discussed was too much. Kathleen would not hear of it and told her in a not so suttle term way as her friends to "Shut the hell up and just say thank you". They both laughed and said good night.

Looking at the time she decided to make one more call before going down to the security training floor to work out with her cousins as per their agreement.

"Carol, hello how are you" Kathleen spoke "Listen I am hoping you can put the word out discreetly that I am looking for an onsite building manger that is skilled, licensed as a general contractor with a good reputation. It can be a family as the apartment rental (excluding utilities) on site is for a almost two thousand sq ft apartment that is master suite, 2 additional bedrooms and two baths, with an open concept living, dinning and kitchen. I think you have a good idea of the type of person/people I like to do business with" Katie said knowing Carol knew exactly they type.

"I am sure I can give you a hand full of names who would fit right in that you can review for the position" Carol spoke. "Thanks, please do not disclose the address just that its central to down town, and the basic spoke of the job. I want to leave off my name for the one or two I meet with in person to talk to after I have my cousin do a security check. Also please let them know that a requirement of the job is an NDA's and confidentiality clauses."

"Will do Kathleen. I'll get I touch with a few people and get back to you as soon as possible." Carol informed her.

"No rush, contraction will bet going on at the property as early as next week and its going to take a few weeks to a month to take care of the urgent issues. I'm not going to jump into someone. I want to find the right fit. I also do not care of what social or financial background they come from just hardworking and loyal".

They two women said good bye and Katie gathered her things and made her way to the security floor and the gym. Her cousin Ryan was waiting for her with once of the female security guards Amber. For the next couple of hours Katie got her ass handed to her in self-defense, and basic sparing.
