                                (Lucifers pov)
I layed in bed, holding the paper Alastor had left me. I sigh and turn on the lamp on my side table. Reading over it again.
                   "Lucifer, this is hard for me, very hard. You don't even know the half of how you make me feel. I know you are still getting over lilith and it's probably not best that you seek a relationship with anyone because of charlotte. But I want to learn. I want to learn how to love. How to feel. Everything from remorse to happiness. And all of it started with you."
        I sigh and flip it over, I haven't even read this side yet. I am scared of where it's going to go. Because he's right. I'm mot ready. And I shouldn't feel this way. I have to read it eventually.
         "I don't understand why, or why you in fact. The only person I've ever felt at all for is my mother. In my entire existence. But you make me feel everything all at once so much so I avoid you in the hotel just so I don't have to argue with you. I don't want to. All the lies. It all makes me feel sick. Rosie has said that I must like you. And I really didn't want to believe that under our circumstances. But its true. Because I love you."

Tears brim in my eyes. I'm not sure why. Am I happy he feels the same or scared of whats to come? I have yet to tell charlie about lilith. And I am not ready for it. But I want to be able to say those same three words to him. Without guilt..

                                          ...
          I walk down the stairs into the lobby, and see angel and husk at the bar. It was their usual spot except it seemed off, angel was sad. Angels never sad.
                    "Hey guys!"
I sit down next to angel and husk pours me some whiskey. The guys good at remembering whp orders what. I'll give him that.
"Hey short king." Angel says quietly. Not even looking up from his drink.
        "Whats wrong?"
Husk frowns and turns away. Hm.
"Just my boss. Gotta fuckin' week to get back to the vee tower or hes gonna just get rid of me." He mumbles.
        "Why do you even stay? You have free will??"
Husk turns back around.
  "He aint got his soul though."
"Husk." Angel mutters.
Holy shit. Angels never called him that. Kitty, whiskers, anything but that.
       "Who has your soul again?"
He turns and looks down at me, revealing a black eye. Shit. That's bad.
       "Velentino. The pimp of the vees. Fuckin' idiot." He mutters. "Guess I ain' much betta though? I gave him my soul."
I give him a light smile, and a contract appears in my hand. Hmm. "Anthony? That's a lot better than angel dust."
      "What are you doing?" Husk asks.
I turn the contract to ashes, his pink collar detaching from his soul. "Setting a friend free."
Angel looks shocked, I don't let him respond. I just get up. "Let yourself be happy. Anthony."
And I leave. I have to find charlie.
I walk into her suite. "Char char? You here?"
I hear a thud and kee kee and razzle run out of her bedroom. Followed by her walking out. "Dad?"
"Hey sweetie." I give her a hug. And she returns it.
"What are you doing here?"
"I just had something really important to tell you. Is vaggie here?"
She shakes her head. "She's getting us some coffee."
I sigh. "I want her here too. This isn't going to be easy."
          Vaggie walks in about 10 minutes later. Setting down two mugs and a bunch of sugar. Presumably for charlie. "Lucifer? Wheres charlie?" She asks.
"She was uh- grabbing something."
Charlie comes out with a smile, "oh! Vaggie!"
She hugs her girlfriend and they both sit down.
"So, dad, what did you need to tell us?"
I sigh. I'm almost terrified.
"Charlie, this is going to be very hard to hear. Thats just a warning now.." I say.
"Dad, just tell me.."
I frown and look down at my hands that are rested in my lap.
"Charlie..your mother and I, are divorced. And she is not coming back. It has also come to my attention that she made a deal with alastor. And was forcing him to come and sabotage the hotel. He has made it clear he didn't want to do so anymore and I broke the deal to save him from..lilith. This was a couple weeks ago. I made a deal with him. Your protection for his freedom. So do not worry about the hotel."
Both charlie and vaggie were stunned. I can get why.
"mom..was sabotaging me.."
i frown.
"I also broke angels deal with valentino."
It gets quiet.
"Thank you for telling me, dad." She hugs me. "And thank you for setting my friends free."
I smile. "Anything for you. Charlie." we hug eachother for a minute. Before I let go.
"And also, alastor and I have well- been seeing each other. Sorta."
They both look stunned.
"Why is that more shocking than the news about lilith.."
"You and al??" She gasps. "I HAVE TWO DADS???"
"SHHHHH. Alastor hears everything in this hotel!"
"I saw it coming." Vaggie says.
"What??"
"Sexual tension. Looked like adam and lute for real. With fighting though." She responds.
I smile, and stand. "Well. I think I know what I need to do now. I love you char char." I hug her one last time before leaving.

               I've been searching for him for a literal hour. "Al!"
Where could he be.
"King!" Niffty says, running in.
"Oh hello Niffty."
"Whatcha doin!" She says, climbing up me and sitting on my shoulders.
"I'm looking for al. Have you seen him?"
She shakes her head. "No but his favorite places are his suite and the kitchen!"
I know that. He wasn't there. Fuck where is he..
"alastor!" I yell, walking down a hall, niffty quietly plays with my hair.
        "Al! I know you can hear me! Come on!"
I sigh, and open the door to his suite. Nothing. I go to his bookshelf and grab the camera. "Fuck you." I flick off the camera and niffty copies. Hm. I see why al enjoys it.
"Al!" I can't believe he's avoiding me like this. I know hes here. I just have to find him.
"Alright you gonna play this the hard way then I am too!!!!" I yell. "Babe!!!" My mouth is instantly covered. And there he is. Right behind me.
